Fresh Airstrike Targets ISIS in Puntland State of Somalia
[ShabelleMedia] The Federal Government of Somalia, in collaboration with U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), has successfully executed an Arclight airstrike

against ISIS holy warriors.

The airstrike conducted today by AFRICOM focused on ISIS members and leaders who were congregating in the southeastern area of Bosasso

This operation bolsters the efforts of Puntland Darwish forces to eliminate terrorist groups particularly ISIS in the region.

Preliminary evaluations suggest that multiple ISIS fighters were neutralized, with no reported civilian casualties.

Somalia: Dozens of Al-Shabaab Fighters Eliminated in Two-Day Offensive

holy warriors have been killed on various frontlines for the last 48 hours, with the government of Somalia investing more in the elimination of the group which is fighting to topple the fragile UN-backed federal administration.

The operations carried out in Middle and Lower Shabelle resulted in the death of over 70 holy warriors, with security forces also managing to seize weapons and equipment used by the holy warriors on the frontlines.

At the Cabdulle-Barbaar area, near Ciid-Ciid in the Mahadaay district, the government forces coordinated attacks that led to the elimination of seven fighters. During the battle, six rifles, a Fekon cycle of violence, and other military supplies were recovered.

Elsewhere, the forces simultaneously carried operations in Sabiid and Caanoole, in Lower Shabelle, resulting in the deaths of over 30 holy warriors. The towns are key targets of the al-Shabaab holy warriors who are dominant in the region.

Additionally, Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s near Raage Ceelle in Middle Shabelle eliminated more than 40 holy warriors, with one of their military vehicles destroyed. The operation comes after a month of havoc when the holy warriors took advantage of Ramadhan.

The Ministry of Defence spokesperson Sheikh Abuukar Mohammed confirmed that the operations are a part of a broader strategy to weaken holy warrior networks and enhance national security.

"These operations are crucial in dismantling terrorist strongholds and preventing further destabilization in Somalia," he said.

The government of Somalia has been working closely with international partners in fighting the group with the US Africa Command and the African Union

Forces Launch Joint Operations Against Al-Shabaab in Southern Somalia
[Garowe] The Somali National Army (SNA) with the help of Jubaland regional forces conducted joint military operations in southern regions, targeting key al-Shabaab
... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
hideouts within the vast lands of the state which is struggling to contain the group.

At Lower Jubba, the military officers and their local counterparts managed to destroy crucial checkpoints used by the al-Shabaab during Ramadan to collect Zakatul Fitr—an obligatory alms payment during Ramadan—from local civilians.

Al-Shabaab made significant losses but the exact number of casualties would not be established — but key hideouts were destroyed as the military took over. Traditionally, al-Shabaab takes advantage of Ramadhan to extort locals besides hitting military installations.

Lower Juba remains one of the regions where al-Shabaab retains a foothold, and it frequently sees festivities and counterterror operations by federal and Jubbaland forces. Early this year, the Jubaland forces and federal troops clashed in Raskamboni.

But the latest joint operations signify improved relationship between the federal and regional forces, perhaps coinciding with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s clarion call over the weekend.

During Eid al-Fitr celebrations on Saturday night, President Mohamud emphasized that defeating al-Shabaab requires broad political consensus and unity. He thanked politicians for prioritizing the nation’s unity and called for their inclusion in both security and state-building efforts.

"I am opening the door to politicians and community leaders so that their views and efforts can be part of the fight against the Khawarij and the establishment of a modern state based on democracy and a federal system, operating within our constitution and laws," the President said. "We welcome all good ideas to preserve our unity."

His sentiments have been backed by opposition leaders led by former presidents Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Mohammed Abdullahi Mohammed alias Farmajo, who insisted national dialogue would cure the disconnect in the al-Shabaab war.

Arabia
US airplanes bomb several areas across Yemen
[HodhodYemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
News] US warplanes launched a series of intensive Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s on several areas in Yemen, targeting the provinces of Sana’a, Hodeidah, Hajjah, and Saada.

A local source explained that the American enemy launched two airstrikes on Jabal al-Nabi Shuaib’ in the Bani Matar district in Sana’a province.

Earlier today, the aggression struck Jarban area in Sanhan district, Sana’a province, with five raids.

In Saada, the American enemy carried out 15 airstrikes at dawn on Saada city, the Takhyah area in the Majz district, and the Sahar district.

The strikes hit multiple locations in the southeast of Saada city and the Takhyah area in Majz district, as well as the Sahar district.

In Hodeidah, three US airstrikes targeted the Water Authority building in al-Mansuriyah district, southeast of the province, killing two and injuring several others among the institution’s staff.

In Hajjah, US warplanes carried out three airstrikes on Washah district, in the northwest of Yemen. The strikes targeted a healthcare center and a school in the area, according to local sources.
US airstrikes battered rebel-controlled areas of Yemen into Wednesday, with the Houthis saying that one strike killed at least four people near the Red Sea port city of Hodeida.

Meanwhile, satellite images taken Wednesday and analyzed by The Associated Press show at least six stealth B-2 Spirit bombers now stationed at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean — a highly unusual deployment, given the Yemen campaign and tensions with Iran.

The intense campaign of airstrikes in Yemen under US President Donald Trump, appears to show no signs of stopping, as the Trump administration again linked their airstrikes on the Iranian-backed Houthis to an effort to pressure Iran over its rapidly advancing nuclear program. While so far giving no specifics about the campaign and its targets, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt put the overall number of strikes on Tuesday at more than 200.

The Houthis have not acknowledged the loss of any of its leadership so far — and the US has not identified any official by name. However, messages released by the leak of a Signal conversation between Trump administration officials and their public comments suggest a leader in the rebels’ missile forces was targeted.

Overnight, a likely US airstrike targeted what the Houthis described as a “water project” in Hodeida governorate’s Mansuriyah District, killing four people and wounding others.

Yemen strikes US warships third time in mere 24 hours
[HodhodYemenNews] The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they had targeted several enemy warships in the Red Sea, including the US aircraft carrier USS Truman, marking the third military engagement within the past 24 hours.
"We sunk it again!"
“In retaliation to the American aggression against our country, the naval, missile , and UAV forces of our armed forces targeted enemy warships in the Red Sea, led by the US aircraft carrier Truman, with a number of cruise missiles and drones in an ongoing engagement until the time of announcing this statement,” the Yemeni military spokesman General Yahya Sare’e said.

This is the third engagement in the past 24 hours, he added.
The Times of Israel adds:
The rebels say they have continued to launch attacks against US warships in the Red Sea, namely the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, which is carrying out the majority of the strikes on the Houthis. No warship has been struck yet, but the US Navy has described the Houthi fire as the most intense combat its sailors have faced since World War II.

Bulgaria to put five on trial over deaths of 18 Afghan refugees
[KhaamaPress] Five individuals will stand trial in Bulgaria for their involvement in the deaths of 18 Afghan refugees, who suffocated in a truck.

The Bulgarian government has announced that the Sofia Prosecutor’s Office will put five individuals on trial for their involvement in an organized criminal group, human trafficking, and the death of 18 Afghan refugees in 2023.

According to the Bulgarian News Agency, on Tuesday, April 1, two of the accused witnesses testified that the Afghan refugees could not breathe properly due to "excessive pressure from each other."

The report stated that despite noticing the issue, the accused continued to close the truck doors and kept driving.

The prosecutor’s office further reported that the refugees died from "suffocation in an extremely painful condition."

The press center of Sofia added that the trial date has yet to be set.

This action follows the discovery of the bodies of 18 refugees found in a truck near the village of Lukorsko, 16 kilometers from Sofia, in early February 2023.

It was reported that over 50 people had been hiding in a secret compartment under a pile of wood in the truck. The bodies of these refugees were transferred from Sofia to Kabul several months later, in June 2023.

Texas man arrested for threatening to 'open fire' on ICE agents
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] The Department of Homeland Security has arrested a man in Texas for allegedly making threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

Robert King, a US citizen, was taken into custody in McKinney, Texas, after pledging on social media to ''open fire'' on ICE agents in his neighborhood, according to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Dallas.

King's rhetoric follows a similar incident in which another man, a TikTok user known as "belal_donq," went viral this week for posting a video urging people to shoot ICE agents ''on sight.''

"Shoot at ICE agents on sight. That's right. If ICE agents are trying to take you or a loved one, shoot them on sight,'' the user said in the viral video, which has since been removed. "The way they're pulling up with masks on, with unmarked vehicles, no badge, no nothing, it could be anybody. It can be gang members. You have every right to shoot at them. This would be the best self-defense case. You're just in fear for your life."

He went on to criticize the motives of ICE agents, saying, "Why would you wanna be an ICE agent anyway? Do you like separating kids from their parents? Do you like deporting students that are studying? I can understand deporting a gang member or criminals, but innocent people is ridiculous.''

In response to the video, Noem posted on X, stating, ''If you threaten or attempt to harm a law enforcement officer we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.''

Government Corruption
ICE Arrests Illegal Alien Outside Boston Courtroom as City Defies Feds — Now Judge Slaps Agent with Contempt
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] A Boston judge has held a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in contempt for executing his duty to detain an undocumented Democrat during an ongoing trial.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, ICE agents, ICE agent Brian Sullivan apprehended Wilson Martell-Lebron, a Dominican national illegally residing in the United States, as he exited the Boston Municipal Court.

Martell-Lebron, a Dominican national residing illegally in the country using fake identity, was on his second trial for charges related to falsifying information on a driver's license application.

Despite the gravity of his alleged offenses, Boston's lenient policies had allowed him to remain free until ICE agents, led by Agent Brian Sullivan, apprehended him outside the courthouse.

But instead of applause for upholding our borders, a Massachusetts state court judge—yet another cog in the radical left's sanctuary machine—had the gall to hold an ICE agent in contempt.

Boston Municipal Court Judge Mark Summerville held Agent Sullivan in contempt, accusing him of violating Martell-Lebron's so-called rights to due process and a fair trial.

DOJ Charges Men Over Plot to Steal U.S. Technology for Iranian Regime
[TOWNHALL] Federal prosecutors have charged an Iranian company and two Iranian nationals with trying to funnel money to the country's military while obtaining U.S. technology to improve drones.

The Justice Department made the announcement on Tuesday.

A criminal complaint was unsealed today charging Hossein Akbari, 63, and Reza Amidi, 62, both of Iran, and an Iranian company, Rah Roshd Company (Rah Roshd), with conspiring to procure U.S. parts for Iranian Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs, also known as drones), conspiring to provide material support to the IRGC — a designated foreign terrorist organization — and conspiring to commit money laundering.

Akbari is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rah Roshd. Amidi is the company's commercial manager and was previously the commercial manager of Qods Aviation Industries (QAI), an Iranian state-owned aerospace company. They are both citizens of Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and remain on the lam.

Sue J. Bai, head of the DOJ's National Security Division, explained, ''Today's charges lay bare how U.S.-made technology ended up in the hands of the Iranian military to build attack drones.''

U.S. Attorney John J. Durham noted that ''the defendants conspired to obtain U.S.-origin parts needed to manufacture drones for military use in Iran and send those parts to Iran in violation of export control laws.''

He further explained: ''The IRGC and QAI have been core players in the Iranian military regime's production of drones, which threaten the lives of civilians, U.S. personnel and our country's allies.''

Iraq
Turkey-PKK clashes intensify in Duhok province
[Rudaw] Local residents in northern Duhok province on Wednesday reported heavy festivities between the Ottoman Turkish army and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), restricting freedom of movement and exacerbating mass displacement for the villagers.

"The bombardment was very intense," Fayeq Balavai, a resident in the Niheli area in Amedi district, told Rudaw on the phone. Videos sent to Rudaw verified the intensity of the bombardments and the festivities.

The citizen mentioned that the continuous fighting near their village has made life difficult, to the extent that "there is no life left, and our villages are becoming abandoned."

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
began intensifying its decades-long war against the PKK, especially in Duhok province, last year with the goal of cutting the Kurdish gang off from its borders.

PKK’s enjugged
Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
leader Abdullah Ocalan called on the group to disarm and disband in late February, requesting them to take the struggle for Kurdish rights into the political sphere. Nevertheless, despite constantly showing rhetorical support, neither the Ottoman Turkish government nor the PKK has so far leaped towards actual peace.

The PKK has repeatedly stated it is unable to dissolve fully without Ocalan's attendance at an official congress to ratify such a decision.

Ocalan’s message sparked hope for an end to the conflict that has taken 40,000 lives.

The Community Peacemaker Teams (CPT), a human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
organization monitoring the conflict, noted in its early March report that the "Ottoman Turkish government has made no comment about how Turkey would support a grinding of the peace processor and the reintegration of PKK members."

The Kurdistan Region has long been a battleground for settling scores between Turkey and the PKK. As of March, the conflict has caused the "full or partial" displacement of 1,190 villages and claimed 721 civilian lives, according to CPT.

Kurdistan Region Presidency condemns attack on Assyrian Christians in Duhok
[Rudaw] The Kurdistan Region Presidency said on Wednesday that it strongly condemns the axe attack on Assyrian Christians celebrating Akitu - the Assyrian-Babylonian New Year - in Duhok province that injured two the day prior.

An axe attack targeted Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac Christian celebrants gathered in Duhok city on Tuesday to celebrate Akitu. The assailant, reportedly a Syrian national, injured a young man and an elderly woman from Nineveh province who had come to Duhok to partake in the festivities.

"While strongly condemning this crime, we assure all Kurdistanis that the Kurdistan Region, as always, will remain a homeland of coexistence, peace, and stability for all its components, and in no way will it allow the disruption of the culture of coexistence, mutual acceptance, and tolerance. The criminal will face legal punishment," the Kurdistan Region Presidency said in a statement.

The presidency noted that it remains in contact with relevant authorities to uncover the circumstances behind the "criminal attack."

On Tuesday night, the Kurdistan Region Security Council said the attacker shared the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
’s (ISIS) ideology. "A person with terrorist beliefs sharing the ISIS ideology attacked citizens with a sharp tool in the bazaar," it said in a statement, adding that the assailant is a Syrian national.

Videos verified by Rudaw English show the assailant shouting "Islamic State!" after being tackled and disarmed by Assyrian Christians in the celebration.

He was then arrested by Kurdish security forces (Asayish) and the victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Celebrations of Akitu - which take place on April 1 - are largely centered on the Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac community’s ancestral homeland of the Nineveh Plains and Duhok.

Palestinians say one killed in Israeli raid on West Bank
[IsraelTimes] The Palestinian Authority health ministry says that one man was killed during a raid in the West Bank by Israel’s military, which did not confirm the killing.

“The young man, Hamza Muhammad Saeed Khammash (33 years old), was shot and killed by occupation (Israeli) forces in the Old City of Nablus,” the ministry says in a statement.

Contacted by AFP, the Israeli military says “the incident is under review.”

Official Palestinian news agency Wafa reports that Israeli forces arrested three people, including Khammash’s brother during the raid.

An AFP journalist reports that hundreds of Palestinians marched through the narrow streets of Nablus’s Old City for Khammash’s funeral earlier today.

Khammash’s body was covered in a Palestinian flag and his head wrapped in a keffiyeh scarf as men carried him through the streets ahead of crying relatives including his mother.

Since the start of the Gaza war, violence has soared in the West Bank.

Israeli troops or settler attacks have killed at least 915 Palestinians in the West Bank since then, according to the PA health ministry, which does not differentiate between civilians and combatants. Israel is in the midst of a months-long counter terror campaign in the West Bank.

Palestinian attacks and clashes during military raids have killed at least 32 Israelis, including soldiers, over the same period, according to official figures.

Netanyahu says IDF carving new corridor across Gaza to cut off Rafah, pressure Hamas

to free the hostages.

Israel is "shifting gears" in Gaza and creating a "second Philadelphi" route, Netanyahu said in a video message, referring to the corridor on the Gaza-Egypt border.

IDF forces are seizing the "Morag Corridor," said Netanyahu. The route, which separates Rafah from Khan Younis to its north, is located where the Israeli settlement of the same name once stood, before it was evacuated during Israel’s 2005 withdrawal from Gaza.

Netanyahu has made continued Israeli control of the Philadelphi Corridor a top priority in the ongoing ceasefire negotiations, insisting that an IDF withdrawal from the route would allow for the smuggling of weapons into the Strip. Nonetheless, he agreed as part of the January hostage deal to fully withdraw Israeli troops from the Philadelphi Corridor by the 50th day of the deal — a clause Israel has gone on to violate. Israeli troops remain in the corridor and have expanded their presence there as well.

Israel has also reasserted control over the Netzarim Corridor — also named for a former settlement — which cuts off the northern third of Gaza, including Gaza City, from the rest of the narrow coastal strip. Both of the existing corridors run from the Israeli border to the Mediterranean Sea.

The move is part of an escalating IDF military campaign to press Hamas into accepting Israeli terms for a ceasefire and hostage release deal, Netanyahu said.

Israel is pushing forward from the north and south, evacuating civilians toward central Gaza.

"We are now cutting off the Strip and we are increasing the pressure step by step... so they will give us our hostages. The longer they refuse to give them up, the more the pressure will increase until they do," Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu’s comments came as the IDF significantly stepped up its renewed offensive, deploying another division to the southern Gaza Strip early in the day and carrying out heavy Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s ahead of the major ground push into the area.

The reinforcements brought the number of divisions operating in Gaza to three.

The IDF said it hit over 50 sites belonging to Hamas and other terror groups overnight. During the day, dozens more strikes were carried out across Gaza.

Paleostinian reports said more than 40 people had been killed in the strikes, including 19 people in a UN clinic in Jabalia. The figures could not be verified. The IDF said it attacked a Hamas command center set up in the medical facility and had taken measures to limit civilian casualties.

two rockets were fired Wednesday evening from northern Gaza, triggering sirens in the Israeli city of Sderot, the IDF said. The projectiles were intercepted by air defenses, with no reports of injuries or damage in the attack.

Following the fire, the IDF issues an evacuation warning for Paleostinians in the Beit Hanoun and Jabalia area.

In a post on X, the IDF’s Arabic-language front man, Col. Avichay Adraee, publishes a map of the area that is to be evacuated, saying that it is a "final warning" before the IDF carries out strikes there.

The area between Rafah and Khan Younis is one of the few locations in Gaza where ground troops have not yet operated. The IDF issued evacuation warnings for Paleostinians in the area ahead of the offensive. Meanwhile,

in the Strip’s north, the IDF said it was also operating to expand its buffer zone along the border.

Later Wednesday, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar visited troops in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah.

During the visit, Zamir vowed that "the only thing that can stop us from advancing is the release of our hostages."

Bar, who is in the process of being fired by Netanyahu, repeated the message, saying that "Hamas will continue to pay the price as long as the 59 hostages are not returned."

The military reiterated that the ultimate goal of the new ground offensive in Rafah is to pressure Hamas to release the hostages.

Amid the IDF advances, Olga Cherevko, a spokesperson for the UN humanitarian aid office, said that more than 60 percent of Gaza is now considered a "no-go" zone because of Israeli evacuation orders.

Earlier Wednesday, Defense Minister Israel Katz said the offensive was aimed at seizing "extensive territory" in Gaza.

Troops will move to clear areas "of holy warriors and infrastructure, and capture extensive territory that will be added to the State of Israel’s security areas," Katz said in a statement.

The expanded ground operation came a couple of days after the IDF issued an evacuation warning for the entire Rafah area and a large swath of land between Rafah and Khan Younis.

It was the most significant evacuation order issued by the IDF since the offensive against Hamas resumed earlier this month, ending a two-month ceasefire. The orders came during Eid al-Fitr, a normally festive Moslem holiday marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

In his Wednesday statement, Katz also called on Gazooks "to act now to overthrow Hamas and return all the hostages."

Israel restarted intense bombing of Gaza on March 18 and then launched a new ground offensive, ending a nearly two-month ceasefire in the war with Hamas.

According to the terms of the January 19 ceasefire deal, the sides were to launch negotiations over the second phase a few weeks into the first, but Netanyahu refused to do so, insisting that the war would not end until Hamas’s governing and military capabilities had been demolished. Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch shot Black Bart's gun out of his hand......
Hamas rejected a series of offers to extend the first phase while continuing to gradually free hostages.

IDF says it uncovered bomb-making lab in West Bank’s Tulkarem
[IsraelTimes] The IDF says troops of the Kfir Brigade operating in the West Bank city of Tulkarem located a bomb-making lab.

The lab was being used to build makeshift roadside explosive devices as well as pipe bombs, according to the military.

In a separate operation, the IDF says troops of the Commando Brigade and Nahal Brigade and Shin Bet agents detained 12 wanted Palestinians in the towns of Qabatiya and Tammun.

A further 15 wanted Palestinians were detained elsewhere in the West Bank overnight, the IDF adds.

Security forces report 80% drop in Ramadan terror attacks, after West Bank crackdown
[IsraelTimes] IDF and Shin Bet credit Operation Iron Wall for decline in Palestinian terrorism; only 3 attacks reported this year compared to last year’s 27

There was a significant decrease in terror attacks in the West Bank this Ramadan compared to last year, according to a joint statement released by IDF and Shin Bet on Wednesday.

Ramadan 2024 saw 27 major attacks originating from the West Bank, while this year, only three occurred, marking an 80 percent drop, the statement said.

The IDF and Shin Bet attributed this downturn to intensified security efforts and counterterrorism operations, particularly in the northern West Bank. The offensive, dubbed Operation Iron Wall, was launched on January 21.

The security forces said they arrested 401 wanted suspects, eliminated 13 terrorists, and seized 105 weapons during Ramadan this year.

Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, is observed by Moslems worldwide as a period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community, commemorating the first revelation of the Koran to the Prophet Muhammad.

This year, Ramadan lasted from February 27 to March 29. The month’s end is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon, marking the beginning of the Moslem holiday of Eid al-Fitr, which was celebrated this week.

This Ramadan marked the second one since Hamas
..always the voice of sweet reason...
’s October 7, 2023, onslaught, which triggered a multifront war.

In recent years, Ramadan has often served as a flashpoint for existing tensions between Israelis and Paleostinians, sometimes leading to violent mostly peaceful escalations, most notably in 2021 during a previous Israel-Hamas round of fighting known as Operation Guardian of the Walls.

erupted during the heightened tensions of Ramadan, following festivities in Jerusalem and rocket fire on Israeli cities.

The collapse of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas last month, in the middle of Ramadan, sparked fears of a similar escalation. However,
corruption finds a dozen alibis for its evil deeds...
these fears did not come to fruition.

Along with increased security measures in the West Bank, law enforcement bodies were also on high alert in Jerusalem during the Moslem holy month. The Old City was under heavy police presence as some 90,000 worshipers reportedly attended prayer services at the al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.

Despite the decrease in terror activity, tensions in the West Bank remain high..

Settler violence against Paleostinians has been on the rise. On Tuesday, a group of some 50 Israelis attacked homes in the northern West Bank village of Duma, with three Paleostinians reportedly injured as the settlers torched property and assaulted residents.

Additionally, it was reported in February that tens of thousands of Paleostinians had fled Israeli military operations across the northern West Bank — allegedly the largest displacement in the territory since the Six Day War in 1967.

The IDF and Shin Bet emphasized that counterterrorism efforts will persist to prevent further threats.

Prominent Gaza family executes Hamas gunman who killed one of their relatives, hundreds protest in Beit Lahiya
[NYPOST] A prominent Gaza family reportedly executed a Hamas terrorist in broad daylight after the gunman shot dead one of their relatives while he was waiting in line for flour.

Members of the Abu Samra clan — a noted family in central Gaza — admitted to killing the Hamas operative in Deir al-Balah on Tuesday after he gunned down their relative, Abdulrahman Sha'aban Abu Samra, earlier in the day, the Times of Israel reported.

Footage circulating on social media showed a handful of heavily armed men parading the apparent terrorist through the street in the moments before they opened fire on him at point-blank range.

The revenge attack came just hours after the Hamas militant had gunned down Abdulrahman for apparently refusing an order to leave the flour distribution line.

The caught-on-camera execution highlights the mounting fury civilians are having with Hamas — as demonstrations have broken out in the war-torn Gaza Strip of late to protest the misery the terrorists have brought.
The Times of Israel adds:
On Wednesday, hundreds of Palestinians also rallied in Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip, chanting “Hamas out” and “Enough death,” in renewed protests against the terror group.

Residents were angered by new Israeli military evacuation orders, which the military said followed rocket salvos by terror groups from the area.

They may have been emboldened to take to the streets by a sharply reduced presence of Hamas police and security forces in the past weeks since Israel’s large-scale attacks resumed.

In a different incident, in Gaza City, another family accused Hamas police of killing a relative and vowed vengeance.

“The blood of our son will not be in vain,” the family said in a statement.

There was no immediate comment by the Hamas-run police about that incident.

IDF strikes hit ‘remaining military capacities’ at Syrian airbases, 9 ‘civilians’ toes up

The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday night confirmed launching a series of Arclight airstrike

s in Syria, saying it struck "remaining military capabilities" at the Hama military airport and T-4 airbase.

The strikes targeted the runways, fuel depots and radars at the airbases, according to military sources.

Israeli Air Force aircraft also struck "military infrastructure" in the Damascus area, the IDF said.

According to Syrian media, the Barzeh scientific research center just outside Damascus — which has been linked to the former Syrian regime’s chemical weapons

program — was hit.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based monitor of unclear funding, later reported that "four people were killed and others maimed, including Syrian defense ministry personnel, in the strikes on Hama military airport."

It said those raids, which targeted "remaining planes, runways and towers, put the airport completely out of service."

The Syrian foreign ministry later denounced the Israeli strikes. "In a blatant violation of international law and Syrian illusory sovereignty, Israeli forces launched airstrikes on five locations across the country," it said in a statement on Telegram.

"This unjustified escalation is a deliberate attempt to destabilize Syria and exacerbate the suffering of its people."

The ministry said the strikes resulted in the "near-total destruction" of a military airport in central Syrian province Hama, injuring dozens of civilians and soldiers.

It also said the strikes came as the country is trying to rebuild after 14 years of war, calling it a strategy to "normalize violence within the country."

Authorities in south Syria’s Daraa on Telegram late Wednesday said that several Israeli military vehicles entered an area in the province’s west, reporting that "three (Israeli) artillery shells" targeted the area.

ENTRY OF DRUZE WORKERS CANCELLED AT LAST MINUTE
Also Wednesday, Kan reported that the planned entry of Syrian Druze workers into Israel was cancelled in a last-minute decision by Israel’s political echelon.

No reason has been reported as to why the decision was made.

Last month, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that Israel would allow Syrian Druze to enter the country for work in the wake of Assad’s fall.

Preparations were made to carry out the initiative, with plans drawn up by Maj. Gen. Ghassan Alian, who heads the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, and who is Druze himself.

Syrian local government says 9 killed in Israeli bombardment overnight
[IsraelTimes] The provincial government in southern Syria’s Daraa says nine civilians were killed and several were injured in Israeli bombardment following an “Israeli incursion.”
In theory they could be civilians instead of hard boys in mufti — there’s no way of knowing.
It says in a statement posted to Telegram that the shelling near the Syrian city of Nawa came after “an Israeli incursion” in the area. It says that this was the deepest into Syria that Israeli forces have advanced thus far.

Nawa is located some 9 kilometers from Tasil, where the IDF says Israeli troops operated overnight.

The military said a short while ago that while in the southern Syrian town, located beyond the demilitarized buffer zone along the border, troops came under fire from several gunmen, and retaliated with both ground and aerial strikes.

IDF says several gunmen ‘eliminated’ after firing on troops in southern Syria overnight
[IsraelTimes] The IDF says several gunmen opened fire on Israeli troops operating in the southern Syrian town of Tasil overnight, as they were working to “confiscate weapons and destroy terror infrastructure.”

The military says the troops, of the 474th Golan Regional Brigade, returned fire and “eliminated” several gunmen “on the ground and from the air.”

No soldiers were injured in the exchange, and the operation in the area was completed, the IDF adds.

Tasil is located some 13 kilometers from Israel’s border, outside of a demilitarized buffer zone along the Israel-Syrian border which the Israeli military moved into last December following the fall of the Assad regime.

It marks only the second incident in which IDF troops operating in southern Syria have come under fire since deploying to the buffer zone.
