In Brooklyn, of course!
[Epoch Times] Douglass Mackey, also known as ‘Ricky Vaughn,’ was on trial for a charge of allegedly conspiring against people’s right to vote with memes—or generally satirical online images—including one depicting an African American woman standing in front of an "African Americans for Hillary" sign. The meme instructed people to vote by text during the 2016 presidential election.
"On or about and before Election Day 2016, at least 4,900 unique telephone numbers texted ’Hillary’ or some derivative to the 59925 text number, which had been used in multiple deceptive campaign images tweeted by Mackey and his co-conspirators," reads the DOJ’s Friday statement. Expressing their God-given right to vote by text message.
The Department of Justice (DOJ), based on that meme and records of online discussions between Mackey and his peers, charged Mackey with conspiring against the right to vote. Although a material injury—in this case, people’s right to vote being taken away—is not required to establish the conspiracy charge, the government said during the trial that people’s votes were "vaporized" by Mackey’s "digital flyers."
Authorities arrested Mackey in January 2021 on that allegation,
...the Biden team hitting the ground running...
and a grand jury indicted him within two weeks of his arrest. A fair and speedy trial....
Mackey will be sentenced on Aug. 16, 2023, and faces a maximum of 10 years in prison. That'll teach him not to be satirical!

At least one memester on the other side did exactly the same thing, and was never arrested or tried and faces no prison time. On Nov. 8, 2016, which was election day, Kristina Wong tweeted a video of a Trump supporter with the caption: “Hey Trump Supporters! Skip poll lines at #Election2016 and TEXT in your vote! Text votes are legit. Or vote tomorrow on Super Wednesday!” Not only was Kristina Wong never prosecuted, but her tweet is still live. Yet she did exactly the same thing Douglass Mackey did. She just had the good sense to do it against Trump, rather than against Hillary.

There was a time one could expect leftist fuckery like this only in shitholes like West Bengal or Guangzhou.

Not a good omen for Trump. It proves that juries in New York will believe any old crap that Soros feeds them.
Did the prosecution prove that people really thought they were voting by text? Or did the people who did the texting testify that they really thought they were voting? If they did they are either guilty of perjury or else they're so stupid they shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway. I think if they voted for Hillary that's proof enough that they are too stupid.

Trump will be convicted in New York. Appeals up to SCROTUS will take years. Will SCROTUS still be majority conservative then? Will an alleged conservative justice "evolve" by then?

The case depended on the ignorance of the jury pool and the complicity of the court. Essentially he was convicted of sarcastically encouraging people to do something impossible, namely vote by text, and the jury agreed that merely telling ignorant people to do something they could not accomplish, was criminal because they were that stupid!
Telling people to hold their breath until they turn blue will soon be considered attempted murder when a conservative does it!
[Townhall] This latest brewing crisis came into focus after JetBlue announced this week that it would be canceling "scores" of its regularly scheduled flights to and from airports in the New York City area and Washington, D.C. this spring and summer in response to the FAA's air traffic controller staffing shortfall-triggered plan that includes "reducing flight requirements by up to 10% for airlines’ takeoff and landing rights to avoid congestion" from May 15 through September 15 of this year. Can't hire enough air traffic controllers because the economy is booming and everyone is working, and overtime is ,,, uhhh, not in the budget, or something.
The reduction in flights means fewer options for travelers, higher demand for available seats, and likely higher prices for Americans who've already seen fares increase 26.5 percent over the last 12 months.
JetBlue's CEO explained that he doesn't "want to pull down flights" and emphasized that "no airline wants to pull down flights," but said if such cuts aren't made, "the system is not going to be workable this summer." Whose system is that? The FAA's, an agency that is still without a Senate-confirmed administrator. Dad-gum Republicans block the President's every move!
Here's the thing: air travel demand always spikes in the summer. The number of Americans traveling by plane has steadily increased as COVID-19 and its accompanying mandates and restrictions were rolled back. And last summer saw delays and disruptions as a result of already-existing ATC staffing issues. Well, how was Mayor Pete supposed to know the problem would get worse if unattended? There's no reason why the FAA, Buttigieg, or Biden wouldn't have known there'd be issues in the upcoming summer travel season unless staffing shortfalls were addressed. Yet, they apparently did not do anything to avert the problem, at least nothing that made a difference, and now flight schedules in America's largest city and the nation's capital are being slashed. At least a lot of the elite will be out of DC, off on summer vacation

It seems few media outlets mention that the railroad gained US Government EPA approval, oversight, and follow-up monitoring for the fiery chemical spill mediation process in Palestine, OH.
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] The New York Young Republican Club has issued a statement responding to the indictment of President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and whatever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... , saying, "This is Total War."
The club warned that the indictment has sent our nation "careening toward tyranny at an unprecedented pace."
"Today, our nation careens toward tyranny at an unprecedented pace," the statement began. "An impudent cabal of radical figures abandons all propriety in their dogged attacks on President Donald J. Trump. We have taken a decisive step away from the values that define our national character."
"Every utterance that has escaped these monsters’ lips since President Trump first came down the escalator has built toward this moment; each falsehood, each misdirection, each deliberate misportrayal found its culmination in Alvin Bragg ...Soros-financed, -owned, and -operated woke Manhattan DA. A prosecutorial loose cannon who feels entitled to pick and choose which laws to enforce and can't be bothered to respond civilly to Congressional inquiries unless they're from Dems... ’s desperate action today," the club’s statement said. "Radical leftist interests, beholden to an elite, internationalist cabal have taken the unprecedented step of indicting President Donald J. Trump, the leading candidate for the 2024 presidential election."
The statement continued, "Every American feels today the solid grasp of the Fifth Column on his throat; henceforth, we must openly acknowledge what so many have long known: that control of our nation’s fate has long been prised from our grasp. Let anyone who celebrates this downfall of our republic be forever branded a traitor to our nation. No one who mocks the people’s will can claim the title of an American."
"President Trump embodies the American people—our psyche from id to super-ego—as does no other figure; his soul is totally bonded with our core values and emotions, and he is our total and indisputable champion. This tremendous connection threatens the established order," it said. "The fix has always been ’in’ against our President, but his motivation and love for the American people drove him to pursue the national excellence that his unique vision perceived lay within our reach. In doing so, he opened so many eyes to reality."
The club recalled a rally in Tampa last summer, during which Trump said that if he backed down from challenging the regime, he would have been left alone. With the indictment, the statement said, the regime has now shed the mask of democracy and unveiled "its true and hideous face."
The club also said that they will not be holding a protest today, despite Trump’s previous call for protest should he be indicted.
"Despite our tremendous success holding marquee protests in Manhattan for critical rightwing causes, today we remain at home. Let our silence be a condemnation of the captivity of our nation; a polemic on the state of our republic. We will not allow another Fedsurrection; we will not be pawns in the Deep State’s perpetual effort to delegitimize Americans’ fundamental right of assembly."

[JUSTTHENEWS] Special Counsel John Durham is revealing new smoking gun evidence, a text message that shows a Clinton campaign lawyer lied to the FBI, while putting the courts on notice he is prepared to show the effort to smear Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... with now-disproven Russia collusion allegations was a "conspiracy."
In a bombshell court filing late Monday night, Durham for the first time suggested Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do... 's campaign, her researchers and others formed a "joint venture or conspiracy" for the purpose of weaving the collusion story to harm Trump's election chances and then the start of his presidency.
"These parties acted as 'joint venturer[s]' and therefore should be 'considered as co-conspirator[s],'" he wrote.
Durham also revealed he has unearthed a text message showing Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann falsely told the FBI he was not working on behalf of any client when he delivered now-discredited anti-Trump research in the lead-up to the 2016 election. In fact, he was working for the Clinton campaign and another client, prosecutors say.
The existence of the text message between Sussmann and then-FBI General Counsel James Baker was revealed in a court filing late Monday night by Durham's team. Prosecutors said they intend to show Sussmann gave a false story to the FBI but then told the truth about working on behalf of the Clinton campaign when he later testified to Congress.
"Jim — it's Michael Sussmann. I have something time-sensitive (and sensitive) I need to discuss," Sussmann texted Baker on Sept. 18, 2016, according to the new court filing. "Do you have availability for a short meeting tomorrow? I'm coming on my own — not on behalf of a client or company — want to help the Bureau. Thanks."
Prosecutors said the text message will become essential evidence at trial to show Sussmann lied to the FBI.

[PJMEDIA] Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has swiftly responded to the partisan indictment of Donald Trump ...His ancestors didn't own any slaves... . In a statement posted to Twitter, DeSantis denounced the weaponization of the legal system to promote political agendas, and called out Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg ...Soros-financed, -owned, and -operated woke Manhattan DA. A prosecutorial loose cannon who feels entitled to pick and choose which laws to enforce and can't be bothered to respond civilly to Congressional inquiries unless they're from Dems... ’s soft-on-crime record, contrasting it with his current willingness to stretch the law to target political opponents by stretching the law to its limits.
"The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American," DeSantis tweeted. "The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent."
Governor DeSantis also took the bold stance of refusing to assist in an extradition request due to the blatantly partisan nature of the investigation.
"Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda," DeSantis said.
This move shows that Florida is not willing to cooperate with a biased legal system and is committed to protecting the rights of its citizens. The fundamental principle of our justice system is to treat all individuals equally, regardless of their political affiliations. However, corruption finds a dozen alibis for its evil deeds... there appears to be a clear double standard in how justice is applied to those on the left versus those on the right.
Trump has been indicted over an offense that normally results in a minor penalty for a Democrat, as it did for Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do... . Last year she was quietly fined by the Federal Election Commission for misreporting payments made to the Perkins Coie law firm during the 2016 campaign to hire Fusion GPS to conduct research that resulted in the Steele dossier. That document was later used by Congress to impeach Trump. Clinton had labeled these expenses as "legal services," but they were in fact a way to hide their funding of the document. As a result, she was fined $113,000 for misrepresentation.

[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] Former FBI Director JamesThe spine of the FBI is the rule of law Comey The disgraced, except in his own mind, former head of the FBI... on Thursday night fired off a tweet celebrating after Trump was indicted by a grand jury.
James Comey was fired by Trump in 2017 while he was leading an investigation into the former president.
"It’s been a good day" — Comey said.
A Manhattan Grand Jury voted to indict President Trump.
The indictment is currently under seal, however, according to a leak to CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... , President Trump was hit with 34 counts related to business fraud.
"Former President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... faces more than 30 counts related to business fraud in an indictment from a Manhattan grand jury, according to two sources familiar with the case." CNN reported.
Comey should be in prison for trying to overthrow Trump.
DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz in 2019 revealed to politicians that he criminally referred former FBI Director James Comey for prosecution.
The Justice Department ultimately declined prosecution even though the department concluded Comey illegally leaked classified information to the media.

Hey, give Comey a break. He's the intrepid investigator/interrogator who got to the bottom of Hillary Clinton's transgressions.
[Breitbart] House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) questioned if Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is probing into Hunter Biden’s suspicious art sales to anonymous buyers — drawing a contrast between Bragg’s apparent lack of concern on that subject and his "outrageous" indictment of former President Donald Trump.
In total, Hunter has sold about 12 paintings for less than his asking price of $500,000, Washington Post reported. It is unclear how much money Hunter has made from his art, but estimates suggest he has earned at least five times more than the average American artist — all while being a novice painter.
"Is Alvin Bragg looking into Hunter Biden’s art sales and business records in New York City?" Jordan asked on Twitter Friday. "Outrageous."
[BREITBART] Transgender Americans "shape our nation’s soul," according to President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. S You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... , who made the assertion Thursday as part of a White House Proclamation on Transgender Day of Visibility. The proclamation came mere days after a transgender ...mutton, dressed up as pork... shooter allegedly murdered six individuals at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee. Precisely which cross-dressers have helped shape our nation's soul?
A proclamation from the Biden White House celebrates the "Transgender Day of Visibility," deeming transgender individuals the "bravest people" the president apparently knows. Not the men of D-Day...
They are people who "have too often had to put their jobs, relationships, and lives on the line just to be their true selves," the proclamation reads, deeming gender confused individuals as those who "shape" America’s soul. Other than as a plot for an Ed Wood movie, what have they done?
Transgender Americans shape our Nation’s soul — proudly serving in the military, curing deadly diseases, ... telling fairy tails...
holding elected office, running thriving businesses, fighting for justice, raising families, and much more. And he said all that without his lips blistering or erupting into flame.
As kids, they deserve what every child deserves: the chance to learn in safe and supportive schools, to develop meaningful friendships, and to live openly and honestly. As adults, they deserve the same rights enjoyed by every American, including equal access to health care, housing, and jobs and the chance to age with grace as senior citizens. But today, too many transgender Americans are still denied those rights and freedoms. They have the same rights as everybody else, no less and no more. If the other kids in school don't want to be friends with them, that's too bad. If they get laughed at or made fun of there maybe a reason. (See the graphic)
A wave of discriminatory State laws is targeting transgender youth, terrifying families and hurting kids who are not hurting anyone. Which ones?
An epidemic of violence against transgender women and girls, in particular women and girls of color, has taken lives far too soon. Where? Under what circumstances?
Last year’s Club Q shooting in Colorado was another painful example of this kind of violence — a stain on the conscience of our Nation. Three dead children and three adults, who weren't cross-dressing at the time, were murdered by a dipshit who was.
