Michael Dell donated $6.5 billion for the Trump Accounts? Wow.
That will make a difference for the Gen Z and Millennials who had been feeling they legitimately felt cheated because couldn’t afford to get married and have children.

[Fox] On Monday, Abbott, a Republican, directed the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to "enhance public safety and homeland security operations" across Texas. He said the surge is in response to escalating cartel violence in Mexico that he believes poses a growing threat to American civilians.
"Mexican drug cartels pose a significant threat to public safety and national security," said Abbott. "By increasing proactive efforts to defend against cartel violence, Texas will continue to utilize every tool and strategy to protect our state and our nation."

Why aren't the feds suing to stop this?
I thought state governments aren't in charge of border control. The Texas National Guard was blocked from doing exactly this.

[IsraelTimes] A London-based Persian language channel says it has been forced to suspend live broadcasts after UK counterterror police alerted its landlord to a potential threat from Tehran.
Manoto TV, which launched in 2010 and is an opposition channel popular with the Iranian diaspora, says the temporary suspension came as Iran faced one of the “most sensitive moments” in its history.
“At a time when… domestic and regional developments are unfolding at an unprecedented pace, the Islamic Republic’s threats against freedom of speech — aimed at suppressing independent reporting — have intensified,” Manoto TV says in a statement.
“Our landlord has informed us of their intention to terminate our tenancy following notification from the UK’s Counter Terrorism Policing regarding a potential threat against us from the Islamic Republic of Iran Regime,” the private broadcaster adds.
Staff has been blocked from entering the building, resulting in the temporary suspension while alternative arrangements are put in place.
“Our priority is to return to live broadcasting from a safe and stable location as soon as possible,” the station adds.
[KhaamaPress] French anti-terror prosecutors said two suspects were arrested over an alleged attack plot in northern La Belle France targeting public venues.
La Belle France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office announced the arrest of two individuals accused of planning an attack and promoting jihadist propaganda. Rooters reported on Saturday that a planned assault in northern La Belle France had been foiled.
The suspects were allegedly preparing to target either a shopping mall or a concert venue, according to prosecutors. Authorities intervened before the plan could be carried out.
Prosecutors said one of the detainees is a 16-year-old teenager who had been seeking and sharing jihadist propaganda. The identities of the two suspects have not been disclosed.
Investigations are ongoing as security officials assess the scope of the plot and examine potential links to krazed killer networks.
La Belle France has faced repeated security threats in recent years and remains under heightened alert following a series of krazed killer attacks that prompted tougher counterterrorism laws.
Earlier in 2025, French authorities arrested several other suspects in separate cases linked to alleged terrorist activities, reflecting persistent concerns over radicalization.
Officials said the latest arrests highlight ongoing vigilance by French security services in preventing potential attacks and safeguarding public spaces.
[KhaamaPress] Eight migrants colonists have died in separate Mediterranean incidents off Libya and Greece, underscoring the continuing dangers of irregular sea crossings.
Five migrant bodies were discovered on the coast of Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... , Libyan authorities said, in the latest episode highlighting the ongoing Mediterranean migration crisis. Local police indicated that the remains were found along a stretch of shoreline west of the capital, an area frequently used as a departure point for Europe-bound boats.
According to Al Jazeera, the bodies were recovered a day earlier and appeared to be recently washed ashore. Hassan al-Ghweil, a local police official, said the corpses were still intact and warned that additional bodies could yet be found along the same coastline as search efforts continue.
In a separate incident, a migrant boat capsized near the Greek island of Crete, leaving at least three people dead. Greek maritime rescue teams managed to save around 20 survivors from the water after the vessel overturned during the attempted crossing.
Media reports said most of the rescued migrants colonists were nationals of Egypt and Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... , countries grappling with economic hardship and instability. Authorities have not yet confirmed the total number of passengers who were on board at the time of the sinking.
The Mediterranean Sea remains one of the world’s deadliest migration routes, with thousands attempting perilous journeys each year to escape war, repression and poverty. Human rights organizations have repeatedly warned about overcrowded boats, human smuggling networks and insufficient rescue capacity.
International agencies say Libya continues to serve as a major transit hub for migrants colonists seeking to reach Europe, despite ongoing political fragmentation and security challenges within the country. Smuggling networks often launch vessels in poor weather conditions and with minimal safety measures.

Another FAFO situation. Will they ever learn?
Probably not. After Iran is crushed by multiple US carrier troops and possible ground invasion, Hezbollah is done.
Their central idea is that they are the most beloved of the Master Religion in the eyes of Allah because of their jihad against the uppity Jews — of Israel and beyond — in aid of Iran’s worldwide conquest. How can they give that up?
Israel has reportedly conveyed an indirect warning to Lebanon that it would strike Lebanese targets, including civilian infrastructure and the airport, if Hezbollah becomes involved in any U.S.—Iran war.
…through senior Lebanese officials, according to the report.
• The warning highlights the risk of broader regional escalation should Hezbollah enter a conflict linked to U.S.–Iran tensions.

[IsraelTimes] Suspects from northern Israel, including two minors, underwent training, security services say; one said to have expressed support for ISIS
Four Israeli citizens were arrested in recent weeks on suspicion of planning a shooting attack on soldiers in the northern city of Karmiel, police and Shin Bet said Monday.
The four defendants, all residents of northern Israel, include 19-year-old Ahmad Sarhan, 18-year-old Muhammad Khalil and two minors, the statement said, adding that all four were set to be indicted.
According to police, the suspects trained and received instruction in preparation for the attack, and one of the minors expressed support for the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... Police published blurred footage showing National Guard officers raiding the home of at least one of the suspects.
The suspects "conspired to carry out serious action against security forces," police and the Shin Bet said.
The agencies "view with great seriousness the involvement of Israeli citizens in activities that could endanger the security of the state and its citizens," they said.
In July 2024, an Israeli citizen from the northern Arab town of Nahf killed an off-duty soldier and maimed another person in a stabbing rampage in Karmiel. The soldier, 19-year-old Sgt. Aleksandr Iakiminskyi managed to shoot the attacker dead before succumbing to his own wounds.
Nahf’s mayor Muhammad Zuri condemned the attack at the time, stressing his town has long maintained good relations with neighboring Jewish communities.
A number of Arab citizens of Israel have been arrested in recent years on suspicion of planning attacks after swearing allegiance to ISIS, including five residents of central Israel’s Taybeh who, police in October 2024 said, had plotted a car-bombing attack at Tel Aviv’s Azrieli Mall.
[IsraelTimes] The military says a Palestinian terror operative who crossed the Gaza ceasefire line in the Strip’s south yesterday was killed by troops.
According to the IDF, the terror operative crossed the Yellow Line and approached soldiers of the 188th Armored Brigade “in a manner that posed an immediate threat.”
The troops then “eliminated the terrorist in order to remove the threat,” the army says.
Since the start of the ceasefire in October, the IDF has said it has killed dozens of terror operatives and other “suspects” who have crossed the Yellow Line — demarcating the military’s withdrawal in the Strip — and approached troops. Such incidents have taken place on a near-daily basis.
[IsraelTimes] A kilometer-long Hamas tunnel in southern Gaza’s Rafah was recently demolished by combat engineers, the military says.
According to the IDF, the tunnel featured several rooms where Hamas operatives would hide out. Inside, the army says troops found several weapons.
The tunnel was found on the Israeli side of the Gaza ceasefire line, in an area of Rafah where dozens of Hamas operatives were holed up underground, during mop-up operations of the 7th Armored Brigade. It was then razed by the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit.
In addition, the military says the forces demolished one of the tunnel shafts used by Hamas operatives in a deadly attack on troops on October 28, 2025, during which Master Sgt. (res.) Yona Efraim Feldbaum was killed.
The 7th Brigade has now been withdrawn from the Rafah area after three months of operations, and it has been replaced by other forces.
[IsraelTimes] New anti-regime protests break out at universities across Tehran and elsewhere, after campuses reopen; footage shows clashes between students and Basij militia forces
Inside Iran, at least eight new anti-regime protests erupted at universities in recent days, some of which have seen clashes with the Basij militia or students aligned with it.
They were the first large-scale demonstrations since the mass killing of anti-government protesters in January, mostly over January 8-9. Some 7,000 deaths have been confirmed, but estimates of the total number of those killed reach into the tens of thousands.
The new protests started when universities reopened on Saturday, after all in-person classes had been suspended January 4, with the regime officially citing cold weather as the reason, amid the unrest.
The BBC on Monday confirmed demonstrations at eight universities in Tehran since Saturday, as well as others in Isfahan and Mashhad.
In footage from a women’s university in the capital, students were seen burning the regime’s flag. Other campuses saw chants of “woman, life, freedom” – the slogan of a protest movement in 2022 that the regime repressed – and “long live the shah,” a reference to Reza Pahlavi, whose father was deposed in 1979.

Video from the Amirkabir University of Technology in the capital showed clashes between the protesters and members of the Basij paramilitary force. Another video, from the University of Tehran, showed Basij members trying to enter a building in which demonstrators were taking refuge.
A protester from Sharif University in Tehran told The Guardian that anti-government students and Basij-aligned students physically clashed Saturday and Sunday. Another student told the broadcaster that protests are expected to continue in the days to come.

Iran state media reported that a text message, of an unknown source, was sent out en masse on Monday, reading: “The US president is a man of action. Wait and see.”
[Rudaw] At least four members of local security forces were killed in an attack in Syria’s Raqqa province on Monday, the interior ministry announced, blaming the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. (ISIS). The assault marks the second such attack in the area within 24 hours.
The ministry said ISIS holy warriors attacked a checkpoint in Raqqa city, noting that in addition to the four killed, two other security personnel were maimed. It added that one ISIS fighter was killed during the ensuing festivities.
"This marks the second attack on the Internal Security Forces in the area, after the checkpoint was targeted yesterday in another terrorist assault that resulted in the neutralization of one of the attacking murderous Moslems, in an attempt to destabilize the region," read a statement from the ministry.
ISIS has not grabbed credit for Monday’s attack.
The ministry also released footage purporting to show the moment local security forces attempted to thwart the attack, as well as the deployment of additional forces to restore stability.
"Internal Security units continue combing and pursuit operations in the surrounding area to track down and arrest those who fled," it said.
Raqqa, which was under the control of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) until last month, has seen ISIS activities for years. It used to be one of its strongholds before the group was territorially defeated by the SDF and the US-led global coalition.
