[Breitbart] Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe appeared Monday on NPR’s "Morning Edition" to discuss his firing from the Bureau and the investigation into leaking information to The Wall Street Journal.
NPR host Steve Inskeep asked McCabe multiple times about the investigation and lying under oath, which McCabe dodged each time by blaming the "ongoing legal issues" that he is "handling."

[DAWN] Amazon jilted New York City on Valentine’s Day, scrapping plans to build a massive headquarters campus in Queens amid fierce opposition from politicians angry about nearly $3 billion in tax breaks and the company’s anti-union stance.
With millions of jobs and a bustling economy, New York can withstand the blow, but experts say the decision by the e-commerce giant to walk away and take with it 25,000 promised jobs could scare off other companies considering moving to or expanding in the city, which wants to be seen as the Silicon Valley of the East Coast.
"One of the real risks here is the message we send to companies that want to come to New York and expand to New York," said Julie Samuels, the executive director of industry group Tech: NYC. "We’re really playing with fire right now." In November, Amazon selected New York City and Crystal City, Virginia, as the winners of a secretive, yearlong process in which more than 230 North American cities bid to become the home of the Seattle-based company’s second headquarters.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Sonny Cuomo heralded the city’s selection at the time as the biggest boon yet to its burgeoning tech economy and underscored that the deal would generate billions of dollars for improving transit, schools and housing.

If you belong to the Occasional-Cortex School of Charted Accountancy, every time a company decides not to build or relocate in your city, you get to move any tax breaks they might have received directly into Cash On Hand*. It's a total win for The People. It's like free money!
The only thing better would be if the entire city was destroyed in a nuclear blast, unleashing an unprecedented outburst of Broken Windows economic prosperity. Jobs for everyone!

The New York HQ was going to be a "plum assignment" outpost. And of course the incentive money was, um, an incentive. And I wouldn't be surprised is Amazon intended NY HQ to provide a springboard into financial services.

[Free Beacon] Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) has ties to a group that includes numerous radical anti-American and anti-Israel activists on its board of directors.
Notes of support posted to the controversial congresswoman's door include a message from the organization Witness for Peace. "Keep up the good work!" the note reads, signed, "Witness for Peace Columbia Team :)."
The note appeared the same week Omar attacked Elliott Abrams, a Jewish-American and longtime diplomat who served in the Reagan and Bush administrations. Abrams is now the U.S. Special Representative for Venezuela. Omar has sided with the socialist government in Venezuela, accusing the Trump administration of leading a "U.S.-backed coup" against Nicolas Maduro.
Witness for Peace got its start fighting the Reagan administration's anti-communist policies during the Cold War, specifically the group opposed funding the Contras in Nicaragua. Abrams, who Omar called "Mr. Adams," pleaded guilty to misdemeanors for withholding information from Congress during the Iran-Contra scandal, and was later pardoned.
"Faith-based peace activists founded Witness for Peace in response to the U.S. funding of the Contras," its website states. In 1984 "Witness for Peace activists across the country organized events to resist Reagan's war on Central America," the group said.
Omar attended a delegation sponsored by Witness for Peace to Honduras in November 2017. She returned to the Minnesota House of Representatives calling for an end to U.S. military aid to Honduras, a position shared by the radical group Code Pink.
[Breitbart] Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) said on Monday that she supports changing Columbus Day to "Indigenous Peoples’ Day" in part because Americans have to remember that the United States is "the scene of a crime" when it comes to "institutionalized racism."
At a town hall event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a questioner asked Harris, the 2020 presidential candidate, if she would support an "Indigenous Peoples’ Day" at the federal level because the voices of indigenous Americans are being "erased and marginalized."
Harris said she would support the change, arguing that it matters because Americans have to "remember history."
"We have to remember our history. Uncomfortable, to your point about truths, though it may make us," she said.
Harris then talked about her anti-lynching bill that recently passed the Senate and said it "finally got passed" in 2019 partly because "people did not want to deal and accept, and most importantly, admit that we are the scene of a crime when it comes to what we did with slavery and Jim Crow and institutionalized racism in this country."

Preparing the Battlefield
No palace coup can take place without the perception of popular anger at a president.
The deep state is by nature cowardly. It does not move unless it feels it can disguise its subterranean efforts or that, if revealed, those efforts will be seen as popular and necessary‐as expressed in tell-all book titles such as fired FBI Directors James Comey’s Higher Loyalty or in disgraced Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s psychodramatic The Threat.
In candidate and President Trump’s case that prepping of the battlefield translated into a coordinated effort among the media, political progressives and celebrities to so demonize Trump that his imminent removal likely would appear a relief to the people. Anything was justified that led to that end.
All through the 2016 campaign and during the first two years of the Trump presidency the media’s treatment, according to liberal adjudicators of press coverage, ran about 90 percent negative toward Trump‐a landmark bias that continues today. Continues.

SLS is the giant NASA rocket that will be outperformed by the new SpaceX and Blue Origin rockets. Cost assumed to be $1.5 billion per rocket but a guess as none yet launched. Orion is NASA's Deep Space (moon) space ship. It is not clear if one has yet been completed. Also, note that the yearly costs of either rocket tech-welfare program would pay for Trump's wall.
