[American Thinker] Whether it is merely the FBI trying to restore its shattered credibility or justice finally being done, the news that the pay-to-play activities of the Clinton Foundation are going to get renewed and serious attention is welcome. The Clintons have made a career of ignoring, skirting, and breaking the law. Up to this point, crime has paid off handsomely for the Clintons, but now they may find themselves caught between Little Rock and a hard place:
The Justice Department has launched a new inquiry into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in any pay-to-play politics or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of [s]tate, law enforcement officials and a witness tell[] The Hill.
FBI agents from Little Rock, Ark., where the foundation was started, have taken the lead in the investigation and have interviewed at least one witness in the last month, and law enforcement officials said additional activities are expected in the coming weeks.
The officials, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said the probe is examining whether the Clintons promised or performed any policy favors in return for largesse to their charitable efforts or whether donors made commitments of donations in hopes of securing government outcomes.
This should be a short investigation ‐ Hillary Clinton is a ham sandwich waiting to be indicted. All that should be necessary is to empanel a grand jury and read them the known facts. The Clinton Foundation was hardly charitable except to its donors.
Any investigation should start with Haiti, where the Clinton Foundation plundered the disaster-ridden island for fun and profit. As the Washington Free Beacon reported:

first of all, if the DOJ is really investigating this they will need more than one witness interviewed per month
second, getting enough evidence for an indictment isn't going to be that easy, the 2016 Supreme Court decision reversing the conviction of former VA Governor McDowell makes it really difficult to get convictions of this kind

Maybe we need to investigate the Supreme Court now ....

I cast a net, and many will be caught it it.
But they are moving deathly slow. Glacial.
Yet I know timing is the key and if there is any Intestinal Fortitude in this place, will stand as they need to and deliver the truth.
Nothing like this has ever happened to This Republic before and nor do Americans deserve it.
By the way, there is much more to come.
A facelift is not going to cover this but if there is an honest pursuit of Justice here, it may restore confidence.
I have catacombs of issues with some in power. And at the correct time, it will not be hidden.
The knights of America! Just like the knight of old!
We are the FBI!
We trample over peons rights (Chorus: Like they had any) and take care to safeguard the elites rights!
We are the FBI!
We persecute the peons and protect the elites!
We are the FBI!
We pick and choose who to prosecute! Lie to us and you'll go to jail, unless you're in the right political party were you get a free pass and immunity!

The powers that be that they need to rebuild their credibility. So they go after the dead man walking in all of this Hillary. She's toxic and will never be a viable candidate for anything. Even the Democrats hate her for what she did to the party...so she's a perfect sacrificial lamb for the Deep State to use to try to prove they are not "Anti-Trump" after all.
"..Except as otherwise expressly provided by law, no person shall be prosecuted, tried, or punished for any offense, not capital, unless the indictment is found or the information is instituted within five years next after such offense shall have been committed."
The sale of Uranium assets to Russia occurred in 2010.
Of course in practice, once an investigation begins, it can uncover other incidents that happened more recently.

Ongoing Conspiracy to hide malfeasance? Tax Fraud? Because as soon as you start bribing people it has to be clandestine, yes?

The FBI did everything but drive Hillary’s getaway car.
Former secretary of state Clinton is a free woman largely thanks to the tender loving care that the FBI provided her and her conspirators during its probe of her illegal, unsecure email server and related abuse of government secrets. GOP lawmakers concluded this after grilling FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe on December 21, behind closed doors, according to John Solomon’s molar-grinding expose in Tuesday’s The Hill.
"For the first time, investigators say they have secured written evidence that the FBI believed there was evidence that some laws were broken," Solomon reported. This proof includes what Solomon calls revelations of "irregularities and contradictions" in the FBI’s inquiry.

Me thinks that off site server and email was solely for the purpose of enhancing revenue for the "Foundation." There can be no other logical explanation for why they did that. If she was only conducting official DoS business, she wouldn't need a "dark" back channel means of communication.
Given as how the Democrats, and particularly the Clinton "campaign" tends to project, I would bet everything that "Shill" Schiff has been spouting about backchannels and collusion are projections about their own behavior and could be a useful road map for investigation, if they could ever get the true believers and useful idiots out of the way.
[PRESSTV] US Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders ...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords. He ran for the 2016 nomination for president, to be cheated by Hillary, then went back to being a socialist... says Americans are not interested President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s multi-billion-dollar wall and that it "will not be paid for by Mexico."
In a statement on Saturday, Sanders reacted to the nearly $18 billion the Republican commander in chief has asked to fund the border wall he had promised to build in his 2016 presidential campaign.
"I am not sure why President Trump wants to shut down the government over a multi-billion dollar wall that no one wants, is not needed and will not be paid for by Mexico," said the Vermont politician, who ran in the 2016 primaries.
Instead, the Democrat called for legal protection for the so-called Dreamers.
"What the American people do want, in overwhelming numbers, is to provide legal protection to 800,000 Dreamers and a path toward citizenship for them," he noted.

US Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders says Americans are not interested President Donald Trump’s multi-billion-dollar wall
At least not the Americans he views as having valid opinions.

They had to replace the dossier with SOMETHING and they know the media will be all over anything that gives them something negative to say about Trump.
I'm waiting for the "list" of names and organizations that Fusion GPS was paying to print part and parcel bits of their lies. I also think Fusion GPS may wind up being the conduit for all of those "leaks" to the media about the Russian Collusion (HAHAHHA) investigation.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing

Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has

Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
