[Regnum] US President Donald Trump declared on November 3 that Europe is falling apart.
"Look at France, look at Europe. Everything is falling apart there," Trump said on Fox News.
He also made the claim that the United States is currently the most respected country in the world.
In August, the US President noted that the two main problems facing the European Union were the migrant crisis and the energy situation. Amid mass protests in France, some of which erupted into riots, Trump called on the country's authorities to immediately close the borders to migrants.
Earlier in January, during a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the US President stated that Europe was moving in the wrong direction. He said that certain regions and cities in Europe had become unrecognizable, calling these changes extremely negative. Trump added that, in his view, the main factors harming European countries are the lack of proper control over migration flows, unrestricted imports of goods, and green energy.
In October, Russian President Vladimir Putin, answering a question on the matter, stated that Europe should not be destroyed because it would collapse on its own due to economic problems.
