| Elon Musk warns of worst-case scenario should Democrats take power as he's spent $445 million: 'It would be game over for America' |

| [MAIL] The largest political donor in US history, Elon Musk, is warning that Democratic victories in the midterms could seal a 'permanent one-party state' and the end of democracy in America. In a Friday morning post on his social media app X, Musk declared that his 'biggest concern' if Democrats take the House of Representatives and the Senate is the creation of a liberal supermajority that will never be undone. He also outlined three scenarios that could play out should Democrats gain control of the Capitol. First, he warned that if Democrats win they would immediately grant statehood to Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico, thereby giving liberals additional seats in Congress that would almost certainly give them an advantage for the foreseeable future. Even with 60 votes in the Senate - a highly unlikely prospect - Democrats would not be able to push forward such dramatic changes with President Trump in the White House for two more years. He also said the Democrats will 'open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority,' of likely left-leaning voters. Democrats have backed a path to citizenship for long-term undocumented immigrants, paired with tougher border security, but no major Democratic proposal calls for open borders. Finally, Democrats would push to increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain a majority over the predominantly conservative bench, the tech executive warned. |
