[Regnum] An explosion rocked a munitions factory in Granada, Spain, injuring three people. This was reported on October 30 by the Europa Press agency.
Touchy things, munitions. Sometimes they go off just because they felt like it. That’s why bomb makers end up missing key bits of themselves if they stick with it for too long — too long being defined as that day when the munitions felt like spontaneously going kaboom despite all the usual safety precautions like not smoking in the storeroom.
The incident occurred in the El Farge area at around nine o'clock in the morning at a site for the controlled destruction of explosives.

According to preliminary reports, a malfunction occurred during testing, causing an uncontrolled explosion. Three workers suffered acupuncture injuries and complained to doctors of hearing problems, the publication clarified.

The explosion was powerful and was felt in various municipalities of Granada, including Fuente Vaqueros and La Zubia. A large column of smoke rose from the plant. Police, firefighters, bomb disposal experts, and paramedics are working at the scene.

Almost a week ago, on October 24, an explosion rocked a chemical warehouse in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. One person was injured and hospitalized. Witnesses captured cellphone footage of the massive fire that erupted after the explosion. Around 1,000 people were evacuated from nearby areas. It took approximately 10 hours to extinguish the fire.
