[Regnum] Over the past 24 hours, Russian air defense systems shot down 1,425 Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) drones in the special operation zone. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense on October 29.
"Air defense systems shot down 1,425 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the Defense Ministry clarified.
According to the military department, since the beginning of the special operation in the combat zone, a total of 75,893 units of special military vehicles, 36,837 field artillery pieces and mortars, 1,794 multiple launch rocket system combat vehicles, 31,451 armored combat vehicles, 672 anti-aircraft missile systems, 274,465 drones, as well as 284 helicopters and 674 aircraft have been destroyed.
On October 27, Russian air defense systems shot down two guided aerial bombs and 645 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones.
On October 26, in the course of 24 hours, Russian forces shot down two Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles and 581 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the SVO zone. On October 25, air defense assets destroyed 1,072 Ukrainian UAVs in 24 hours.
During the week of October 17–23, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 5,593 Ukrainian drones, seven Flamingo cruise missiles, five aerial bombs, and three HIMARS rockets.
