Text: 🚨 IDF FINDS 15-METER UNDERGROUND SHAFT NEXT TO HEBRON GUNMAN’S HOME IDF troops searching Hebron after Friday’s deadly shooting attack uncovered a deep underground excavation adjacent to the home of one of the Palestinian gunmen. According to the IDF: • The shaft is about 15 meters deep and 75 cm wide • It currently appears to have no exit • An electronic device was found inside and taken for examination • The discovery came during searches of more than 500 locations across Hebron The IDF stressed that the shaft is deep inside Hebron and does not extend toward or threaten any nearby Israeli community. The wider operation was launched after Friday’s attack, which killed two IDF soldiers. What exactly the shaft was intended for remains under investigation. While the discovery was not unprecedented, underground shafts are extremely rare in the West Bank.
