After midnight, Belgorod repeatedly issued warnings about the threat of a further drone attack. Residents were urged to take shelter and stay away from windows.
The Belgorod region regularly comes under attack from Ukrainian forces. On October 24, a man was killed and two others were injured in an FPV drone strike. Earlier that day, two adults and a 17-year-old boy were injured in Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks. They were injured when a drone detonated in the courtyard of a residential building in Shebekino.
In Lipetsk, on the evening of October 24, an attack by enemy drones was also repelled. Debris from one of the drones fell into a parking lot, setting several cars ablaze. The fire was quickly extinguished.
