| [NYP] Embattled Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s usual bravado disappeared on Wednesday night as she was forced to answer the question that so many of us have grappled with: Did you marry your brother? In the bizarre exchange with MS NOW’s Chris Hayes, the Squadette turned meek and uncomfortable as the topic turned to her second husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, her alleged brother-husband. The story that she tied the knot with her sibling, she said, "started with the Somali blog . . . Somebody put it there, that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect. And right wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis got a hold of it." |
