[Regnum] A bear was spotted near a school in the village of Koshurnikovo, Krasnoyarsk Krai. Efforts have been made to locate the predator, the Kuraginsky District Unified Dispatch Service reported on October 22.
The animal appeared on Nevsky Street and ran past the school toward the club, according to a report from the Unified Dispatch Service in MAX. The report also reported that the bear was seen within the village of Chibizhek, located 20 km from Koshurnikovo.
Earlier, footage from Koshurnikovo surfaced on social media showing a bear running past a parked school bus. There were passengers inside. Local residents fear the bear could attack.
A bear approached a kindergarten in the village of Bely Yar in the Altai District of Khakassia. Residents were asked to refrain from walking outside, and police and hunters are searching for the predator.
Another bear visited the taiga lodge of Dmitry Merkulov, head of the Minusinsk District of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The official posted a video from the devastated ravine.
Since spring, 27 people have died in bear encounters across Russia. The most recent incident occurred on October 18 in the Pinezhsky District of the Arkhangelsk Region. A 49-year-old hunter, armed with a rifle and out picking berries, was mauled to death by a bear. Previously, bears hadn't attacked people in the Pinega area since 1978.

A bear was spotted near a kindergarten in the village of Bely Yar in the Altai District of Khakassia. This was reported by Irina Voynova, head of the district, on October 22.
"An alarm has been received: a bear has been spotted near the new Ogonyok kindergarten. I ask everyone to remain calm—the situation is now under control," Voynova urged in a post on her VKontakte page.
The mayor advised local residents to temporarily avoid walks, especially with children. Voynova assured that specialists were dispatched to the scene promptly, a search for the predator was launched, and police officers and experienced hunters were involved.
A bear destroyed the forest cabin of Dmitry Merkulov, head of the Minusinsk District of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The official posted footage from the taiga on his VKontakte page. The animal broke down the door, knocked down shelves, tore up belongings, scattered food, and left claw marks and paw prints on the walls of the cabin. All the rooms in the cabin, including the sauna, were damaged.
