[Regnum] Crime boss Dulat Youlo (known as Akhmed Sutuly ) pleaded not guilty to occupying a high-ranking position in the criminal hierarchy. This was reported on October 20 by the Telegram channel "112."
Youlo has previously denied the charges against him. His case is now being reviewed in absentia because he is currently abroad.
According to investigators, since 1996, Youlo held a high position in the criminal hierarchy and extended his influence to the Moscow region, the Kostroma region, Chechnya, and Ingushetia. As a result, in 2019, a case was opened under Article 210.1 of the Russian Criminal Code, and in 2022, the court acquitted him of this charge based on a jury verdict that found no criminal offense in his actions.
Criminal cases had previously been brought against the crime boss. In 2018, he was arrested in Krasnogorsk for heroin possession and subsequently taken into custody.
In late March, crime boss Konstantin Piskarev, nicknamed "Kostya Bolshoi," was sentenced to life imprisonment for mass murder. Investigators believe he was involved in 21 murders, including the murder of Yevgeny Dushko, head of Sergiev Posad, near Moscow. Piskarev committed his crimes as part of an organized crime group beginning in the mid-1990s. The bodies of some of the victims remain missing.
