[Regnum] Air defense systems destroyed 883 Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) drones in the special operation zone in the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on October 13.
"Air defense systems shot down 883 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the military department clarified.
Since the beginning of the Second World War, Russian army fighters have destroyed more than 260,000 Ukrainian drones, 674 aircraft and 284 helicopters, 672 anti-aircraft missile systems, 31,216 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,787 multiple launch rocket systems, 36,713 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 74,402 units of special vehicles.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost approximately 1,285 service members in the past 24 hours as a result of actions by Russian troop groups.
On October 12, in one day, Russian air defense systems destroyed 646 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones and five guided aerial bombs.
On October 11, in one day, Russian military personnel shot down two aerial bombs and 909 enemy drones, and on October 10, 725 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones.
