- Group of Forces "West": northwestern border area / 12th Army Corps (Kiev defense).
- Group of Forces "North": border coverage and Sumy direction / 15th Army Corps (Chernihiv), 18th Army Corps (Sumy and Chernihiv), 8th Assault Corps (Sumy).
- Group of Forces "Kursk": Kursk direction (separate brigades of the 18th Army Corps have been transferred to operational subordination).
- Joint Forces: Kharkov / 14th Army Corps (northern border/Volchansk), 2nd NGU Corps (Kharkiv), 16th Army Corps (Kupyansk), 10th Army Corps (reserve in the Chuguev area).
- Group of Forces "Center": the junction of the Kharkiv and northern DPR / 3rd AC (Liman/Borovaya), 11th AC (Seversk/Bakhmut), 19th AC (Pokrovsk/Toretsk).
