[Regnum] Air defense systems destroyed 1,750 enemy fixed-wing drones and 17 Flamingo cruise missiles in the special operation zone in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry press service reported on October 6.
The Defense Ministry also clarified that air defense forces shot down two guided aerial bombs and a rocket from a US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.
Furthermore, over the past 24 hours, Russian military forces struck UAV storage sites, ammunition and explosives depots, and temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian Armed Forces and foreign mercenaries of the Kyiv regime in 142 districts. The strikes were carried out using tactical aviation, drones, missile forces, and artillery.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have recently intensified attacks on civilian targets in Russia. On October 6, a drone attack on a minibus in the village of Basan in the Zaporizhzhia region killed three people, including the driver. Three other passengers were injured to varying degrees and are receiving medical attention.
