[Regnum] Overnight, air defense systems shot down 629 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on September 18.
"Over the course of the past night, from 8:00 PM Moscow time on September 17 to 8:00 AM Moscow time on September 18, air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 629 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the report stated.
They noted that drones were destroyed over the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, and Tula regions. Additionally, drones were shot down over the Krasnodar Territory, the Moscow Region, Adygea, Crimea, and the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
