[Regnum] Russia has increased its production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) several-fold, and for some types, tens of times. President Vladimir Putin announced this on September 18.
"Unmanned aerial vehicles are being supplied to the troops without interruption. Their production, depending on the class, has also increased severalfold, and for some classes, by tens of times," he noted at a ceremony presenting state awards to distinguished workers of the defense-industrial complex (MIC).
The head of state also reported that since the beginning of the special operation, the production and supply of weapons and ammunition, including high-precision missiles and shells, has increased more than 22-fold. Supplies of radar stations have increased almost fivefold, and armored vehicle weapons have increased 2.5-fold.
Putin emphasized that the defense industry not only sends weapons and equipment to the front, but also fully meets all the needs of the Armed Forces and all security agencies.
