Moscow, September 10, 2026, 08:10 — Regnum News Agency. The Kyiv regime was plotting terrorist attacks against the head of the British diplomatic mission in Moscow and other diplomats in order to draw London into a direct armed conflict with Russia and secure additional arms supplies to Ukraine. The FSB Public Relations Center ( PRC )reported this on September 10.
According to the agency, Ukrainian intelligence services planned to commit acts of sabotage against British Embassy staff and then blame it on Russia. In this way, the Ukrainian leadership hoped to provoke a direct confrontation between the two countries and increase sanctions pressure on Moscow. Another goal of the planned provocation was to extract additional arms supplies from London.
In Moscow, FSB officers uncovered this plot and detained a Ukrainian Security Service agent—a Russian citizen born in 1981. He worked for the organization that provides security for the British Embassy. A criminal case has been opened against him under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code, which charges high treason.
The investigation established that the suspect acted on instructions from Ukrainian blogger Dmitry Karpenko, known by the pseudonym Apostol Dmitry. Under Karpenko's instructions, the guard collected the diplomats' personal data. He transmitted photographs of the employees, their residential addresses, vehicle license plates, and travel routes to Ukraine, and also compromised the building's internal security system.
