Text: NRF: AKA National Resistance Front 🚨 Geolocation | The NRF claimed it had targeted a Taliban vehicle in Badakhshan province On Tuesday, August 25, the NRF claimed responsibility for targeting a Taliban vehicle in Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan province. In the released footage, the explosion appears to have been caused by a roadside IED planted on the left side of the road. Geolocation of the footage indicates the attack occurred roughly 11 km north of Faizabad Airport, near Samadi High School. 📍 37.214889, 70.457111 Note: Although the NRF claimed that several Taliban members were killed or wounded in the attack, this is difficult to independently verify. The explosion appears relatively small and occurred beside the vehicle rather than directly underneath it. It may have caused injuries, but the extent of any casualties remains unclear.
