| Saudi Arabia seeks to increase role for Al-Qaeda forces in occupied southern Yemen, claim unnamed sources |

| [HodhodYemenNews] Informed Southern sources have revealed intensive Saudi efforts to recruit a second batch of leaders and operatives from the terrorist "Al-Qaeda organization," assigning them leadership roles within the Riyadh-funded "Emergency" and "Dera al-Watan" factions. The sources confirmed that the Saudi forces command recruited this second batch of terrorist elements, who were stationed in the al-Samdah area of the Wadi Abidah district, last Friday in coordination with the ’Moslem Brüderbund’ (Islah Party) in Ma’rib city. Riyadh has been working to enlist these terrorist leaders and operatives into the "Emergency" and "Dera al-Watan" factions to deploy them to the Ma’rib front, the sources added. This move follows the integration of several al-Qaeda leaders and krazed killer ’Salafi’ groups in Hadhramaut Governorate into these same factions over the past months. According to the reports, the Saudi command stationed at the al-Ruwik camp, east of Ma’rib city, has expressed its readiness to provide these terrorist leaders with equipment, munitions, logistical backing, and financial privileges in foreign currency. In exchange, they are tasked with fighting the Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... i forces under sectarian pretexts. These developments follow recent missile and dronezaps on Saudi-affiliated camps in Marib and Hadhramaut over the past few days, which resulted in heavy human and material casualties. This coincides with the continued refusal of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) leaders and citizens in the southern governorates to send their sons into "Saudi death incinerators" against Yemeni forces affiliated with the Sana’a government. Saudi forces had previously failed to drag these STC-aligned factions into their ranks, despite conducting dronezaps targeting STC camps and positions in restive Lahj ... a Yemeni governate located in the southwestern corner of the Arabian Peninsula. It is the stomping grounds on the southern secessionist al-Harak movement , Shabwah, Dhalea, and other areas over the past weeks, while allegedly claiming the strikes were carried out by Yemeni forces loyal to Sana’a. |
