[Regnum] An American Cessna 441 plane crashed in southwest Alaska, killing eight people. The Associated Press reported on August 21.
"The crash occurred at Cape Newnham Airport, located approximately 725 kilometers west of Anchorage, Alaska. The plane crashed on an Air Force runway providing access to a long-range radar station," the article wrote.
The aircraft had a pilot and seven passengers on board. The Alaska State Troops Rescue Coordination Center launched a search and rescue operation.
