[Regnum] Russian Armed Forces air defense systems shot down 1,504 drones and 11 guided bombs belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (Ukrainian Armed Forces) in the Northern Military District (NMD) in the past 24 hours. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on August 20.
"Air defense systems shot down 11 guided aerial bombs and 1,504 unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement said.
The department calculated that since the beginning of the military operation, Russian troops have destroyed 674 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 214,914 unmanned aerial vehicles, 669 anti-aircraft missile systems, 30,660 tanks and other armored combat vehicles of the enemy.
On the same day, the Russian Armed Forces struck a warehouse containing M-900 aerial bombs and ammunition for Baba Yaga drones in Kyiv. The Russian Armed Forces used long-range UAVs and precision-guided weapons from land, air, and sea.
The Russian Armed Forces also struck the Fire Point enterprise =, which produced components for attack drones and assembled and stored boosters used in Flamingo cruise missiles, and a number of other facilities associated with the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
