In Al-Dhale' governorate, the Yemeni Armed Forces said artillery fire and drone strikes targeted Houthi gatherings and reinforcements near Souq al-Fakher, west of Qa'atabah. The strikes took place Tuesday evening as Houthi forces were gathering ahead of an alleged attack on government positions. The military said a number of Houthi fighters were killed or wounded. Separate footage from eastern Taiz showed government forces responding to an attempted Houthi infiltration on the Al-Karifat front. The Yemeni Armed Forces said the attempt was stopped and that several Houthi fighters were captured.
