[Regnum] Russian air defense assets destroyed 276 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the country's regions overnight. The Russian Defense Ministry press service reported this on July 27.
The agency clarified that enemy drones were intercepted over 17 regions: Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Tula, Ulyanovsk, and Yaroslavl Oblasts, the capital region, Crimea, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, and Krasnodar Krai. UAVs were also shot down over the Black Sea and the Sea of ​​Azov.
Earlier, drones damaged an apartment building in Rostov-on-Don, setting up a temporary shelter for its residents. Later, regional governor Yuri Slyusar reported that two people were killed and five others injured as a result of the massive attack in the city. The aftermath of the drone crash was also recorded in the Zheleznodorozhny, Proletarsky, and Leninsky districts, where homes, warehouses, and cars were damaged, and the resulting fires were quickly extinguished.
