[Regnum] The Soyuz MS-28 manned spacecraft carrying two Russian cosmonauts and an American astronaut undocked from the International Space Station. The Roscosmos press service reported this on July 26.
Undocking occurred at 10:03 Moscow time.
"On board are Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, Sergei Mikayev, and Christopher Williams. The Soyuz MS-28's deorbit engine is expected to fire at 12:32 Moscow time, its separation into compartments at 1:00 Moscow time, the descent module's entry into the dense layers of the atmosphere at 1:03 Moscow time, and the main parachute deployment at 1:11 Moscow time," the state corporation reported.
The descent module will land at 13:25 Moscow time, 147 km southeast of Zhezkazgan in Kazakhstan.
Soyuz MS-28, carrying commander Kud-Sverchkov, flight engineer Mikayev, and American Williams, docked with the ISS on November 27, 2025. The crew spent approximately eight months on the station, performing spacewalks and conducting 42 scientific experiments.
