| Houthis claims the shootdown Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) UAV Yemen’s Al Jawf Governorate |

Text: Houthi military media via @TvAlmasirah has released footage that it claims shows the shootdown of a suspected @modgovksa Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Bayraktar Akıncı unmanned combat aerial vehicle over Yemen’s Al Jawf Governorate. The video appears to show the aircraft spinning out of control after being hit, reportedly by anti aircraft fire or a surface to air missile, before descending from the sky. The Bayraktar @BaykarTech Akıncı is a Turkish built multirole high altitude long endurance (HALE) unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) developed by Baykar. It entered service with the Turkish Armed Forces in 2021 and is designed for long range reconnaissance and strike missions. The drone has a maximum takeoff weight of 6 tons, can carry more than 1,500 kg of payload, and is equipped with advanced sensors, electronic warfare systems, satellite communications, and radar.
