[Regnum] Russian air defense forces shot down 242 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions overnight. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on July 22.
"During the past night, from 8:00 PM Moscow time on July 21 to 8:00 AM Moscow time on July 22, air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 242 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the department reported.
The drones were shot down over the Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Rostov, Kaluga, Oryol, Ryazan, Tula, Tver, Smolensk, Pskov, Novgorod, Leningrad regions, the Moscow region, Kuban, Stavropol, Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
On the night of July 22, air defense systems shot down six Ukrainian Armed Forces drones over the Leningrad Region. In the Stavropol Region, five people sought medical attention after a drone attack on Nevinnomyssk.
