Text: ANTI-HOUTHI ARMED UPRISING ANNOUNCED IN SANAA A newly formed armed faction, the Free Yemen Movement, has declared an uprising against the Houthis from inside Sanaa, stating: “We announce an armed uprising against the Houthi movement from within Sanaa due to the crimes committed by Iran and the Houthis.” The group says the revolt comes in response to: “This uprising comes in response to the Houthis’ starvation, looting, theft, and killing of Yemenis, as well as their violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and implementation of Iranian directives.” |
