Text: Update on the Anéfis, northern Mali, situation as of July 7. Russian and Malian troops are still holding out for their fourth day, there has been almost incessant shelling and FPV drone attacks against specific facilities in the camp by JNIM/FLA such as the water tanks, communication antennas and armored vehicles. According to the FLA, the Russians attempted to negotiate another peace deal for safe passage on the Kidal template, however this was allegedly rejected on the basis that the Russians didn't respect their earlier commitments of leaving the Malian north for good. The Africa Corps and Malian Air Force have continued their targeted strikes using aircraft, FPV and Geran drones against JNIM/FLA in and around Anéfis, resulting in significant human and material losses especially of the precious captured armored vehicles.
