[REGNUM.RU] American intelligence is coordinating and assisting the Ukrainian Armed Forces in carrying out targeted strikes against infrastructure in Russian regions. This was reported by the British newspaper Financial Times.
"US intelligence agencies played a role by providing Ukrainian military personnel with recommendations on the most effective routes for attacks," the publication reported, citing its sources.
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Western countries are helping Kyiv target foreign weapons using satellites and other infrastructure. Kyiv is backed by Berlin, Paris, The Hague, Oslo, and, unfortunately, Washington, Peskov added.
On June 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that, amid the deteriorating situation on the front, the Kyiv regime has adopted the tactic of targeting civilian infrastructure. Ukraine is resorting to such attacks increasingly as Russian troops occupy one populated area after another, the Russian leader noted.
