[COLONELCASSAD.LIVEJOURNAL.COM] Strikes on gas stations in Ukraine. June 2026. Since Ukraine is supplied with imported fuel straight from the wheels, a campaign of strikes on gas stations was inevitable. And it is already in full swing, gradually gaining momentum. In the last week of June, the frequency of UAV attacks on such targets increased exponentially – over the past eight days, according to objective data alone, over 70 gas stations in Kyiv regime-controlled territory were hit.
What do the statistics say? The overwhelming majority of strikes were carried out by Geranium family drones, while the use of remotely controlled Geranium-4 Seeker models equipped with an autoguidance system has recently increased significantly.
The most massive strike on gas stations occurred in the Kharkiv region. The largest number of strikes were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions. In addition to new strikes, information about previous ones is also emerging, so the total number of targets hit this month has also increased. However, an important caveat should be made: some information about gas stations comes exclusively from enemy sources, requiring further verification.
Nevertheless, it is important to distinguish between an attacked and a destroyed gas station. A fire on the canopy or external damage to a pump does not necessarily mean it is out of action, and replacing equipment is not that difficult, especially in rear areas. However, some tanks are buried underground, significantly complicating their detection and guaranteed destruction in a single attack. If this fact is ignored, an attacked gas station could suddenly be back in operation a week later.
A visible effect of the "fuel isolation" of frontline enemy cities and the serious economic problems of gas station networks can only occur with a systematic approach, with planning and regular attacks on targets in designated zones. And raids on the many remaining oil depots in the Dnipropetrovsk or Odessa regions could be a great help in this matter. Then the results of attacks on gas stations will be immediately noticeable even on the scale of large Ukrainian cities on the left bank of the Dnieper.
10 more gas stations were destroyed overnight. The enemy reports that all gas stations on the Kharkiv-Dnipropetrovsk highway have been destroyed. But of course, all this will have a serious effect only if such systemic action continues and escalates.
