Text: Houthi Information Czar: The Battle is Coming The Houthi's Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shami, whose public profile has recently risen despite being a longtime loyalist, launched a scathing attack on the anti-Houthi tribal gathering in eastern al-Jawf during a rival pro-Houthi tribal gathering in western al-Jawf. Al-Shami, who has more than 332,000 followers on @drahmedalshami, mocked anti-Houthi tribal leaders and Saudi-backed Yemeni officials while praising the Houthis' role in Yemen and their regional military campaign. "The battle is coming, God willing," Al-Shami said. "Neither a new Danbu' nor an old Danbu'" using a derogatory nickname for former Yemeni President Hadi, "nor an old pair of shoes nor a new pair of shoes," a derogatory reference to Saudi-backed Yemeni officials, "will be of any benefit to you."
