| West Bank: IDF says it fired at rioters near Ramallah, after reports teen killed |

| [IsraelTimes] After Palestinian media reported a teen was killed by Israeli fire near Ramallah earlier today, the IDF says that it had opened fire on rioters. During a military operation in the Ramallah area, a “violent riot developed which included stone throwing against the forces,” the IDF says in response to a query. “The forces returned fire at a suspect in the area,” the army says, adding that “a hit was identified.” Palestinian media reported that Amir Ahmad Jawad Jaber, 15, was killed after being shot by the army in the area. A military source says that the suspect is an Israeli citizen. The IDF adds that the incident is under further investigation.
