[REGNUM.ru] The death toll from the earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to 1,430, National Assembly Speaker Jorge RodrÃguez announced on June 27.
"As of this hour, we have already counted 1,430 of our brothers and sisters who have sadly perished. Our hugs and condolences go to their families and loved ones," Rodriguez said during a briefing.

Medical assistance was provided to 3,238 victims. In addition, authorities registered 3,142 families left homeless, and they have been placed in shelters and provided with necessary assistance.
Rodriguez also reported that medical personnel conducted more than 12,000 mobile consultations in disaster areas, and more than 5,000 people received assistance at primary medical examination centers.

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences in connection with the devastating earthquake in the northwest of the country.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Russia is exploring the possibility of providing humanitarian aid to Venezuela. She also expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
