[Regnum Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a crowd in Chicago, USA. At least 20 people were injured in the incident, and four died, ABC reported.
The incident occurred late in the evening on June 19 local time (7:00 a.m. Moscow time on June 20). Two men drove an SUV toward a crowd of people in the Princeton Park neighborhood in the south of the city and opened fire, firing approximately 100 shots.
The attackers managed to escape. An investigation has been launched.
The wounded were hospitalized. One of the injured was a 17-year-old boy. Another wounded person, a 26-year-old man, is in critical condition.
Shooting incidents occur regularly in the United States. Earlier in June, one person was killed and 11 were injured in a shooting in the West Texas city of Midland. The shooter died. Authorities have not released a motive.
Also in June, a mass shooting occurred near the Old West End festival in Ohio. At least 12 people were hospitalized, two of whom were in critical condition. Local police stated that the incident was caused by two people shooting at each other.
