In principle, my opinion was different, but due to the commitment made by the esteemed President—as Chairman of the Supreme National Security Council, on his behalf and on behalf of the other members—to protect the rights of the Iranian people and the resistance front, and with an emphasis on their responsibility for this, I gave my consent.
The President also emphasized that if the American side attempts to make excessive demands, they will not give in to them. From now on, you and your humble servant will await the fulfillment of the agreed conditions. It goes without saying that future direct negotiations do not mean accepting the enemy's position.
I don't think he has any trust in those who killed his family members. Quite the contrary, this will long-term cement the approach to negotiations with the US from a position of strength. More can be achieved this way. The US understands only strength. Meanwhile, in the US, the Iran agreement is being called a US capitulation to Iran, a military-political fiasco for Trump, the most shameful and inept war ever, and so on and so forth.
Naturally, the US Democratic Party is actively exploiting this, essentially parroting the official Iranian assessments in its assessments of the war's outcome.
