Text: Breaking | The IDF is carrying out intensive artillery shelling on a hilltop known locally as Ali Al Taher, located between the villages of Kfar Reman and Kfar Tebnit in the Nabatieh Governorate of southern Lebanon, northeast of Nabatieh city. Reports indicate that nearly two dozen artillery rounds have struck the area. This is among the most intense exchanges of fire reported in the sector since the ceasefire took effect. Additionally, the IDF says it spotted a suspicious vehicle in an area of southern Lebanon where troops are operating today. The soldiers fired warning shots, and later carried out a strike “to remove the threat,” the army says. Initially, a car was targeted in a drone strike in Mayfadoun, before a second strike hit the area after locals gathered there, Lebanon’s National News Agency reports. NNA says a third strike hit another car in the town, and a fourth strike hit a car in the adjacent town of Shoukine. The strikes resulted in the deaths of four and injured others, according to NNA. There is no immediate comment from the IDF. Israeli drone reportedly strikes vehicle in south Lebanon [IsraelTimes] Lebanon’s National News Agency reports that an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in southern Lebanon. The strike took place on a road between the towns of Haddatha and Haris, according to the NNA. There are no immediate reports of injuries. The IDF has yet to comment on the reports.
