Text: BREAKING: As a result of the ballistic missile strike of the IRGC Aerospace Force at Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base in Jordan, at least three F-16AM/BM Fighting Falcon fighter jets of the Royal Jordanian Air Force have been damaged or destroyed. One of the ballistic missiles hit the parking area used by the RJAF's F-16s at the base. As yet, there are no reports regarding damage to or destruction of U.S. military aircraft stationed at the air base. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards says they fired 12 missiles at US command center in Jordan [IsraelTimes] Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it fired ballistic missiles at a US command center in Jordan, according to state media. This “punitive operation against the aggressor” targeted “Al-Azraq Air Base and its control center, using 12 ballistic missiles,” the IRGC says, as quoted by the Tasnim news agency, claiming to have destroyed these facilities “and a large number of fighter aircraft.” Jordan says it shot down 20 missiles fired from Iran after Tehran said it targeted US base [IsraelTimes] Jordan’s military says it had intercepted 20 missiles launched from Iran, after Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it had fired at a US command center in the kingdom. “At dawn on Thursday, Jordanian air defense systems and the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and shot down 20 missiles that had been launched from Iran towards the Azraq area in Zarqa governorate,” a statement quotes a military official as saying, referring to an area about 80 kilometers (50 miles) east of Amman. “The interception resulted in the fall of a number of fragments, without any human casualties or material damage,” the statement adds.
