[Regnum] An investigation into allegations of sexual harassment against International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Khan has revealed serious violations in his work, the Associated Press reported on June 9.

The man is scum.According to the publication, the ICC's supervisory body, the Bureau of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute, charged Khan with serious misconduct and gross misconduct in office. The ICC prosecutor's defense team disagreed with the charges and announced their intention to appeal the verdict.
The special panel appointed to conduct a legal review of the investigation by the UN Office of Internal Oversight Services also found the evidence insufficient to draw definitive conclusions. A final decision will be made by the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute at a special session. The date for this session has not yet been set, according to the article.
Khan was previously suspended from his post. Disciplinary proceedings against him were referred to the Assembly of States Parties of the ICC. The Court emphasized that this is an interim measure pending a final decision.
According to Reuters, Khan committed serious misconduct following a lengthy investigation into a prosecutor's harassment of a lawyer in his office. Following this, it was recommended that he be removed from office.

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov noted that Russia does not recognize the ICC or its jurisdiction : the body is not part of the official UN structures and has no connection to the International Court of Justice, which also sits in The Hague.
Peskov emphasized that for many years, neither international judicial bodies, even those recognized by Moscow, nor other members of the international community have paid attention to the destruction of civilian infrastructure and the killings of civilians that Ukraine has committed in Donbas.
