[Korrespondent] The Pokrovsky direction remains the hottest, where 26 clashes have already taken place in the areas of 10 settlements.
Since the beginning of the current day, Russian occupation forces have stormed Ukrainian army positions 77 times. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational update on Sunday, May 31.
Thus, five combat clashes took place in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. One battle is still ongoing.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the invaders tried to break through the defenses near Liman and Starytsia six times. Two fierce battles are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the occupiers advanced three times near Shyykivka and Kupyansk.
In the Lyman direction, the aggressors carried out seven assaults near Kopanky, Novomykolaivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Ozerne. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, our soldiers successfully thwarted two attempts by the invaders to advance in the Rai-Oleksandrivka area.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Russians carried out 10 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Rusynivka Yar, Mykolaivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy advanced 26 times in the areas of Vilny, Dorozhny, Bilytsky, Rodynsky, Oleksandrivka, Hryshyn, Novooleksandrivka, Sergiyevka, Kotlyny, and Udachny.
In the Hulyaipil direction, nine attacks were successfully repelled in the areas of Zaliznychne, Vozdvizhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipilske, and Charivne. Another battle is ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders unsuccessfully tried nine times to penetrate the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Shcherbaky, Bilogirye, Nesteryanka, and Stepnohirsk.
In the Dnieper direction, the invaders made one futile attempt to advance in the area of ​​the Antoniv Bridge.
No offensive actions by the occupiers have been recorded in the Kramatorsk and Oleksandrivsk directions yet.
Let us remind you that over 300 battles took place on the front during the day on May 30. The hottest were the Pokrovsky and Hulyaypil directions.
