[Korrespondent] The Russian occupiers are most active in the Pokrovsk and Hulyaipol areas. Most of their assaults have already been suppressed.
Since the beginning of the current day and as of 4:00 p.m., Russian aggressors have attacked Ukrainian army positions 61 times in all 13 key directions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational summary on Thursday, May 28.
Thus, five clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, one of which is still ongoing.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed four times in the areas of the settlements of Shevyakivka, Lyman, and in the direction of Izbitsky. One battle is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of Kivsharivka and Kupyansk.
In the Lyman direction, there were six attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Hrekivka, Makiivka, Novomykhailivka, Lyman, and Dibrova. Three clashes are ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, an attempt by the invaders to advance near the settlement of Riznykovka was successfully stopped.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy was repulsed in the area of ​​the settlement of Markove.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out nine attacks near Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders tried to advance 17 times in the areas of the settlements of Vilne, Novy Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, and Novopavlivka. One clash is ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once in the Sichneve area.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 14 attacks were successfully repelled in the areas of the settlements of Myrne, Dobropillya, Vozdvizhivka, Girke, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipilske, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped one assault in the Shcherbaky area.
In the Dnieper direction, Russian invaders attacked once in the area of ​​Belogruy Island.
As a reminder, during the day on May 27, the Russians carried out over 300 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The largest number of assaults was repelled near Pokrovsk – 66. At the same time, the enemy army lost over 1,100 soldiers killed and wounded.
