Text: BREAKING: The U.S. Navy has resumed Project Freedom of Operation Epic Fury after a temporary pause. U.S. Navy warships have already restarted escorting commercial vessels and oil tankers in and out of the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz, protecting them from attacks by the IRGC Navy in southern Iranian waters. A large Greek-crewed oil tanker became the first commercial vessel to transit the Strait of Hormuz under the renewed Project Freedom mission. The tanker was escorted through the strait by an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer of the U.S. Navy.
