[RIA] A moose broke into a Kaliningrad resident's home, broke a window, and fell into a dead pool. It was rescued and taken to the forest, the Kaliningrad administration press service reported.
"Yesterday, at approximately 10 p.m., a call was received on 112 from a resident of Vozdushnaya Street. A moose had broken into his house. The animal broke the panoramic window of the house and fell into a dead pool," the Kaliningrad administration said in a statement on the Max platform.
Ministry of Natural Resources employees, veterinarians from the Kaliningrad Zoo, rescuers from the Kaliningrad rescue team of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, employees of the Kaliningrad City Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Department, and the Chistota enterprise arrived at the scene.
What about the flying squirrel?
"Losyash was tranquilized, then loaded into the back of a truck and taken to the forest. There, he recovered from the anesthesia and continued on his way," the administration added.
This is the second such incident in recent days. On May 8th, specialists rescued a moose that accidentally wandered into the city.
