[RUSVESNA] The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has released declassified documents containing reports of mysterious creatures approximately 1.2 meters tall emerging from unidentified flying objects in the 1960s, according to the Daily Mail, citing the files.
Researchers pointed to 1965 as the year with the highest number of UFO sightings worldwide. FBI reports described supposed metallic objects capable of hovering silently in the air, reaching high speeds, and interfering with electromagnetic equipment.
There are also mentions of the discovery of "flying saucer" debris and materials of unknown origin, including structures containing microscopic spheres. The documents devote special attention to eyewitness accounts of witnesses who claimed to have observed the "crews" of these objects. According to them, the beings were approximately 1.1–1.2 meters tall and were dressed in suits resembling spacesuits and helmets.

I wonder what that lot made of the experimental series a Korean War veteran/factory mechanic friend of mine and his temporarily idle colleagues got up to back in the 1970s to see what people would think they saw. It is very, very dangerous to leave such men enough free time to find their own amusements… In this case, they inflated and sealed large trash bags, singly and in groups of various sizes, lights/no lights/blinking lights in patterns, set to float at various heights… And then they watched the local and national news, snickering. Since nobody knew where the things came from, they were legitimately characterized as unidentified flying objects. I still have my copy of his memoir of the work they did somewhere. |
