[Korrespondent] The largest number of assault operations by Russian troops are recorded in the Pokrovsky and Hulyaypil directions.
Since the beginning of May 9, when the so-called "truce" between Ukraine and the Russian Federation officially continues, the number of attacks by the aggressor has been 51. This was stated in the daily summary of the General Staff on Saturday.
Thus, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 10 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops. Two enemy assault actions were recorded.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy has attempted to improve its position seven times in the areas of Prylipka, Izbitsky, Staritsa, Ternova, Petro-Ivanivka, and Synelnykovye. Two of these attempts are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked four times in the direction of Lyman, Zarichny, Yampol, and Ozerny.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Tikhonivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out seven attacks towards the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried 17 times to push our soldiers from their occupied positions towards the settlements of Bilytske, Nykanorivka, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Vasylivka, Molodetske, and Novomykolaivka. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 13 attacks on the positions of our defenders in the direction of Novy Zaporizhzhia, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychny, Vozdvizhivka, Svyatopetrivka, Hulyaipil, and Charivne.
There are currently no significant changes in other areas. No enemy attempts to advance are being recorded.
Recall, on May 8, Trump announced that Ukraine and Russia had agreed on a three-day ceasefire, as well as a 1,000-for-1,000 prisoner exchange.
After that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree allowing Russia to hold the parade until May 9. The head of state excluded the venue of the parade in the Russian capital from the plan of Ukrainian strikes.
