[Korrespondent] In the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy tried to press our soldiers 14 times in the areas of 10 settlements.
Since the beginning of the day and as of 4:00 p.m., the Russian occupation army has carried out 52 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units. The enemy has slightly reduced its activity compared to Wednesday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational summary on Thursday, May 7.
Thus, eight clashes occurred in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
In the South Slobozan direction, the enemy stormed three times in the Prylipka area and in the Izbitsky direction.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the Radkivka area. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched eight assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kovalivka, Drobysheve, and Lyman. One battle is ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, one attempt by the invaders to advance in the Rai-Oleksandrivka area was repelled.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out four attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders tried 14 times to push our soldiers out of the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Nikiforivka, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske and in the direction of the settlements of Hannivka, Novopavlivka and Shevchenko. Four clashes are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, an attack is underway near the settlement of Oleksandrograd.
In the Hulyaipil direction, nine attacks were successfully repelled in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillya, Svyatopetrivka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne. One clash is ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy was repulsed twice in the Shcherbaky area.
On the Dnieper direction, enemy attempts to advance towards the Antoniv Bridge and Belogruy Island were successfully stopped three times.
As a reminder, 157 combat clashes took place on the front during the day on May 6. The largest number of battles was in the Hulyaipil direction – 29. The enemy army lost almost 900 soldiers killed and wounded.
