| Sudanese army returns seized property to RSF defector |

| [SudanTribune] A high-ranking defector from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has recovered a multi-story property in Khartoum North’s upscale Kafouri district, security sources told Sudan Tribune. Major General Al-Nour Ahmed Adam, known as “Al-Qubba,” took possession of the building last week. The property had been held by the General Intelligence Service’s Operations Department since the Sudanese army consolidated control over the capital in March 2025. Sources indicated that the return of the property and the unfreezing of bank accounts are part of an agreement reached when Al-Qubba abandoned the RSF. Upon his defection in April, Al-Qubba, formerly considered the RSF’s “third man,” was received by Sovereign Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, who reportedly returned the general’s private vehicle at that time.
