[Korrespondent] The occupiers are concentrating their main efforts in the Pokrovsk area, where units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already repelled over 20 assaults.
Since the beginning of the current day and as of 4:00 p.m., Russian occupiers have carried out 55 attacks on Ukrainian army positions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational update on Friday, May 1.
Thus, one assault was repelled in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Izbitske, Krasne Pershe, and Figolivka. One clash is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy is attempting to advance in the Petropavlivka area.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Lyman, Drobysheve, and Stavky. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy conducted two assaults in the areas of Kryvaya Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One battle is ongoing.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out four attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultynye, and Ivano-Pol.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders tried to advance 21 times in the areas of the settlements of Sofiivka, Vilne, Dorozhne, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Oleksandrovka and Yehorivka.
In the Hulyaipil direction, seven attacks were successfully repelled in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and Dobropillya. One clash is ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy conducted one assault operation in the direction of the Antoniv Bridge.
The enemy has not yet carried out active operations in the Kramatorsk and Orikhiv directions.
As a reminder, during the day on April 30, 138 combat clashes took place at the front. The largest number of battles was in the Pokrovsky direction – 26. The enemy army lost more than 1,400 soldiers killed and wounded.
